Jack Schlossberg Slams “Grotesque” Ryan Murphy Show About JFK Jr.

Looks like Jack Schlossberg won’t be tuning into American Love Story.

The grandchild of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis openly expressed his genuine feelings about the upcoming Ryan Murphy-produced series, focusing on the love story between his deceased relatives, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

Without a doubt, one can infer that the political commentator holds little affection for the ongoing show, slated for release in New York City in February 2026.

Recently, Jack shared on his Instagram Stories that his news feed has been overflowing with photos of his uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., a remarkable man. He clarified in the video that neither his family nor they have any involvement or consultation regarding the new shows being produced about him. John F. Kennedy Jr. is the son of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg.

He pointed out that there isn’t really anything his family has the power to change regarding the remake of the story about John F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, who met their untimely end in a private plane crash back in 1998.

In the state of New York, the right to privacy, encompassing personal aspects like your name, picture, and likeness, does not extend beyond death. Furthermore, since he is recognized as a public figure, there are limited options available for protection.

Although the 32-year-old acknowledged he can’t specify the way his family will be depicted in the forthcoming drama, he stressed strongly that the very idea of creating this television series makes him uncomfortable.

Jack expressed that he appreciates his Uncle John very much, but he finds it distasteful to gain profit from such admiration in an excessive or inappropriate manner.

After the post, Ryan hasn’t openly replied to Jack’s critique of “American Love Story”. Yet, the creator of “American Horror Story” has spoken up about the criticism regarding the costumes worn by Sarah Pidgeon’s character Carolyn in some recent promotional shots for the show.

Ryan shared with Variety in an interview on June 19 that it’s quite intriguing how people can get so passionate, remarking, “Some remarks were along the lines of ‘I despise that coat,’ but it was merely a coat used to add some color, Carolyn wouldn’t have worn it for real!

Even so, he understood those who regarded her style as significant, remarking, “Carolyn Bessette appears to be an iconic figure, essentially a leader in her own unique faith.

Joseph Patrick “Joe” Kennedy married Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald on Oct. 7, 1914.

They had a total of nine children by 1932, among them were Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., John F. Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward Kennedy.

Born July 25, 1915, Joe Jr. was going to be president, as far as his father was concerned.

He attended the Democratic National Convention in 1940 as a delegate and intended to seek election for Congress once he had completed his service in the Navy. However, tragically, he and his fellow pilot, Wilford John Willy, lost their lives on August 12, 1944. Their demise occurred when the explosives they were transporting unexpectedly detonated during a bombing mission that was part of Operation Aphrodite.

The pilot’s remains were never found, and their names are engraved on the Monuments of the Missing at the American Cemetery and Memorial in Cambridge, which commemorates the fallen from World War II.

Born on May 29, 1917, it was John who achieved the following milestones: first, he was elected to Congress; second, he advanced to become a U.S. Senator; and third, he was successful in his presidential bid in 1960.

On September 12, 1953, he tied the knot with Jacqueline Bouvier, and their union brought forth daughter Caroline Kennedy on November 27, 1957, followed by son John F. Kennedy Jr. on November 25, 1960.

In the year 1956, a child named Arabella was tragically born still. Exactly nine years later, on August 7, 1963, another child, Patrick, was born prematurely and unfortunately survived for just 39 hours.

JFK was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963, one of the defining events of the 20th century.

During the Obama administration, Caroline held the position of U.S. Ambassador to Japan, and more recently, she served as the Ambassador to Australia during the Biden administration. In 1986, she tied the knot with Edwin Schlossberg.

As a devoted follower, I am proud to say that I have the pleasure of sharing three wonderful children: Rose Kennedy Schlossberg (born on June 25, 1988), Tatiana Kennedy Schlossberg (born May 5, 1990), and our son, John “Jack” Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg (January 19, 1993).

TV producer Rose went to Harvard like her mom and married restaurateur Rory McAuliffe in 2022.

In 2014, Tatiana – who was unaware that her New York Times article about a deceased bear discovered in Central Park concerned her cousin RFK Jr. – graduated from Yale and later married her college sweetheart, George Moran, in the year 2017. Their family expanded with the birth of their son, Edwin Jr., in 2022.

Jack, who graduated from Yale and attended Harvard’s joint JD/MBA program, was both a speaker at the 2024 Democratic National Convention and currently serves as a political correspondent for Vogue, and he is known for his lively presence on social media.

In 1988, a man who later became known as the former first son was chosen as People’s Sexiest Man Alive. This individual was renowned as one of the most attractive bachelors worldwide before he tied the knot with Calvin Klein publicist Carolyn Bessette on September 21, 1996.

Tragically, John F. Kennedy Jr., who frequently brought sorrow to his family, died prematurely, much like his father did. His promising future was cut short when he and Carolyn, along with her sister Lauren Bessette, perished in a plane crash on July 16, 1999.

Rosemary (at right, with sister Kathleen and mom Rose) was born Sept. 13, 1918.

During her time at a unique boarding school designed for children with learning challenges, Rosemary struggled with behavioral problems. As a result of these issues, when she turned 23, her father made the difficult decision to perform a prefrontal lobotomy on her.

Rosemary, who underwent an experimental treatment purported to alleviate mental illness (and Joe had high hopes it might aid her), unfortunately ended up severely incapacitated and spent the remainder of her life (until January 7, 2005) residing in an institution.

Years later, Rose shared with historian Doris Kearns Goodwin that she had always thought she could have led a life similar to a Kennedy woman, at a slightly slower pace. However, everything changed dramatically within just a few minutes.

Born Feb. 20, 1920, Kathleen got a kick out of life, hence her jaunty nickname.

She wed William Cavendish, the Marquess of Hartington, in a non-religious ceremony held in London on May 6, 1944. This marriage went against her mother’s desires because her fiancé was not Catholic. As a result, only her brother Joe Jr. was present at their wedding from her family.

A month later, William, a major in the British Army, was killed by a sniper in Belgium.

She stayed in England and developed feelings for William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, the 8th Earl of Fitzwilliam, who was already married. Before they could obtain a divorce, they tragically perished together when their plane to the French Riviera crashed on May 13, 1948.

Eunice was born July 10, 1921.

On May 23, 1953, the passionate benefactor and creator of the Special Olympics exchanged vows with Robert Sargent Shriver Jr.

Among the offspring of this remarkable family that I adore beyond measure are five shining stars: Robert “Bobby” Shriver III (born on the 28th of April, 1954), Maria Shriver (born on the 6th of November, 1955), Timothy (arriving on the 29th of August, 1959), Mark (graced us with his presence on the 17th of February, 1964) and Anthony (entering our world on the 20th of July, 1965).

When Eunice passed away at the age of 88, she had a total of 19 grandchildren, with Maria’s four children being among them. These are Katherine (born on December 13, 1989), Patrick (born on September 18, 1993), Christina (born on July 23, 1991), and Christopher (born on September 27, 1997). These children are connected to Maria’s ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

On June 17, 1950, Robert F. Kennedy, affectionately recognized by many across the nation as Bobby Kennedy, tied the knot with Ethel Skakel.

They ended up having eleven offspring: Kathleen, Joseph II, Robert Jr., David, Courtney, Michael, Kerry, Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas and Rory.

Their family grew to include eleven children: Kathleen, Joseph II, Robert Jr., David, Courtney, Michael, Kerry, Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas and Rory.

Or, for a more casual tone:

They wound up with 11 kids: Kathleen, Joseph II, Robert Jr., David, Courtney, Michael, Kerry, Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas and Rory.

Ethel was carrying Rory at the time when Bobby was tragically killed on June 6, 1968, soon after winning the California Democratic primary.

David Kennedy tragically passed away due to a drug overdose on April 25, 1984, at the tender age of 28. Conversely, Michael Kennedy met an untimely end on Dec. 31, 1997, when he collided with a tree while skiing and simultaneously playing catch with a football during a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado. The father of three, who was 37 at the time, shared his children with his wife, Victoria Gifford.

Ethel Kennedy experienced the loss of her husband when their oldest child was just 16 years old. Despite this heartbreaking event, she went on to become a grandmother to 34 grandchildren. Regrettably, two of her grandchildren have passed away: Saoirse Hill, who was Paul Hill’s daughter and 22 years old at the time of her death in 2019 due to an unintentional drug overdose, and Maeve Kennedy McKean, the 40-year-old daughter of Kathleen and David Townsend, who perished in a canoeing accident in 2020.

RFK Jr., born Jan. 17, 1954, is a thrice-married father of six.

He has a son, Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III (born in 1984), and a daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy (born in 1988), whom he shares with his first spouse, Emily Black.

They divorced in 1994 after 12 years of marriage.

RFK III has been married to CIA analyst turned author and TV host Amaryllis Fox since 2017.

They have a child named Bobby, born on January 7, 2019, and another child named Cassius Watts Thoreau Kennedy, born on August 30, 2021. Additionally, Amaryllis has a daughter named Zoë from a past relationship.

In simpler terms, a Stanford alumnus shared that he often expresses his viewpoint that life is made up of various experiences, some pleasant and some not so much. The greater the number of these experiences one has, the richer their life becomes. This was stated in an interview with Town & Country magazine in 2012.

In brief encounters with Ben Affleck, as a source described, had placed Kick Kennedy at the peak of the trending list just days following Jennifer Lopez’s divorce filing against him in August 2024.

Affleck’s representatives swiftly dismissed rumors of a romantic involvement when they stated to TopMob News that all reports about him and Kick are false.

So nothing about being a Kennedy had really changed in a decade. Or a century.

Someone might ask, ‘What’s it like being a Kennedy?'” she shared with T&C. “Perhaps it’s the feeling of the water, but I often respond, ‘I truly don’t know.’ When I come across my image or name in gossip magazines, I feel a tightness in my stomach. It’s not who I am—it’s reading something that’s not genuine.

However, there was a strong sense of connection between her and her namesake great aunt, who had passed away two years prior to her father’s birth.

“It’s funny how similar we are,” Kick mused. “She was fun and social and a performer in many ways.”

RFK Jr., in the year 1994, wed Mary Richardson. Together they welcomed four kids: Conor Richardson Kennedy (born on July 25), Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy (August 22), William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy (November 8) and Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy (July 13).

The couple were legally separated when Mary died by suicide in 2012.

Father and sons: Conor, Aidan and RFK III.

Conor has kept a relatively subdued public image, not counting his prominent activism and various accomplishments. After becoming well-known at the age of 18 as a Harvard student, he introduced Taylor Swift to his family.

For a brief span of time, their love flourished, yet it was short-lived. Conor eventually matured, earning his law degree from Georgetown University. However, their fleeting relationship managed to create quite a stir in the media.

“Taylor Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy” is now engaged to singer Giulia Be.

Kyra, a regular among the high-fashion set, lives in Milan.

In a video shared on August 27, 2024, partnering with Elle and Bvlgari, she mentioned that she’s currently engaged in a tribute project for her deceased mother.

In that clip, you might hear me say, “Indeed, I have gone through a transformative journey. Once upon a time, as a child, I was a completely different individual. But as I grew into my young adulthood, there was a dramatic shift in who I was.

RFK Jr. married Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines in 2014.

The actress shares daughter Catherine Young (born March 8, 2004) with ex-husband Paul Young

On Instagram in 2018, Kick expressed gratitude by saying, “I appreciate you for providing me with such an amusing array of siblings!

Ethel Kennedy, along with Robert F. Kennedy, has a son who is their seventh child. This son has three daughters – twin girls Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo and Cara Kennedy Cuomo (born in 1995), and Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo (born in 1997) – with his former spouse Andrew Cuomo.

Kerry and Andrew, who served as the Governor of New York from 2011 to 2021, got married in 1990 but split up in 2003. They eventually finalized their divorce in 2005.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d like to shed light on the family dynamics of Senator Ted Kennedy. Contrary to some assumptions, his family life was more harmonious than often portrayed in public sphere. With my first wife, Joan Bennett, he welcomed three extraordinary individuals into this world: Kara Kennedy, born February 27, 1960; Edward Kennedy Jr., who made his appearance on September 26, 1961; and Patrick Kennedy II, born on July 14, 1967. Each of these remarkable individuals carries on the Kennedy legacy in their unique ways.

He and Joan divorced in 1982 after 24 years of marriage and he wed Victoria Reggie in 1992.

Kara suffered a fatal heart attack on Sept. 16, 2011, two years after her father died.
