Jade Raymond Departs From Fairgame$ Developer Haven Studios

After a total absence from communication since the unveiling of Fairgame$, Sony (PlayStation) has officially acknowledged that Jade Raymond, the chief at Haven Studios and its founder, has left the company.

A representative from PlayStation stated to Bloomberg that Jade Raymond has been a valuable collaborator and driving force in the establishment of Haven Studios. We are extremely appreciative of her guidance and efforts, and we send our best wishes as she embarks on her new adventure. Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski have assumed roles as co-heads of the studio, with PlayStation expressing their dedication to backing Haven Studios and eagerness to continue this journey together.

Jason Schreier was informed by those in-the-know that the studio wasn’t aware of the cause behind Raymond’s departure, which came after a claimed external test for Fairgame$ (now known as Fairgames). Some developers have expressed worries about the project’s development progress.

According to various reports, Schreier was informed that Fairgame$ was initially planned for release this Fall, but has now shifted its target date to Spring 2026. This timing aligns with earlier speculation. Following the disappointment of Concord, Sony has decided to scrap multiple live service projects. Among these are a standalone multiplayer project based on The Last of Us, a God of War multiplayer title from Bluepoint, and a fantasy RPG developed by SIE London Studio.

Whether Fairgame$ is also shelved remains to be seen. It’s currently in the works for PS5 and PC.
