Jalen Hurts is not sure how to answer this question.
It is worth noting that the Super Bowl winner found himself at a loss for words when discussing his intentions to meet up with his Philadelphia Eagles colleagues for a White House visit with President Donald Trump on April 28, to commemorate their triumph in Super Bowl LIX.
The reporter from Time magazine inquired if you have any intentions of dropping by the White House next week during the Time100 gala in New York City on April 25, but Jalen, 26, seemed a bit flustered, glancing to his left and then his right, followed by an “umm” and a noticeable pause.
This week, it was disclosed that Jalen tied the knot with his long-term partner, Bry Burrows. Among numerous celebrities, he graced the red carpet at the event honoring the 100 Most Influential Individuals.
In one of the magazine’s spotlights, renowned former MLB player Derek Jeter wrote a heartfelt tribute to Jalen, commending his resilience for not letting his initial loss against the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2023 discourage him from seeking another matchup.
In the NFL, Jalen didn’t allow the defeat at the Super Bowl in 2023 to undermine his self-assurance, as he expressed in an essay published on April 16. Instead, he employed that loss as a driving force and made a photograph of himself leaving the field after the loss his phone’s lock screen image.
With sheer excitement coursing through my veins, I can’t help but share the thrilling news: yours truly, a die-hard Eagles fan, has been granted an audience with the President! You might remember that after our historic Super Bowl win in 2018, some of us couldn’t make it to the White House due to various reasons. However, this time around, we have graciously accepted the invitation to meet with the President! I can hardly contain my anticipation for this once-in-a-lifetime encounter!
During a March 11 press conference, Karoline clarified that there had been some misinformation about whether or not an invitation was sent. To set the record straight, she confirmed that an invitation was indeed distributed. Excitedly, they accepted our invitation and will be in attendance on April 28.
Meanwhile, Coach Nick Sirianni voiced his enthusiasm for the team’s imminent trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The head coach expressed his gratitude to the reporters on April 1st. “It’s such a privilege,” he said, “to be invited to the White House. Teams who have triumphed in championships have been visiting there for quite some time now, and I feel incredibly privileged to accept this invitation, and I’m genuinely thrilled about it.
