Peacemaker Season 2 is set to premiere on Max in August. If Gunn gets his way, we might even see John Cena squaring off against the DCU’s Batman at some point. However, it’s probably best not to get our hopes too high for this encounter, as it may not become a reality anytime soon… or ever.

In plain terms: It’s quite unlikely that James Gunn will follow through on those ideas, as he usually keeps his most creative thoughts hidden. However, let’s set aside skepticism and appreciate how entertainingly John Cena delivered the news to fans instead.

As a dedicated cinema enthusiast, I must acknowledge the assumed fact that Batman and Peacemaker will never share a punching ring in the live-action DC Universe. However, this revelation makes it all the more intriguing to become engrossed in the humorous moniker that James Gunn has bestowed upon the trio of Peacekeeper projects, each showcasing John Cena in his undergarments.

Ah, it belongs to the Tighty Whities Trilogy. We’ve got “The Suicide Squad,” followed by Season 1, and then Season 2 as well.

It’s unlikely that “Underoos Crewz” would be understood, given that John Cena’s streetwear doesn’t typically include character-filled briefs. (I must confess, I used to own Batman Underoos as a kid, which might have caused quite a few nightmares.)
