James Kennedy Cleared of Domestic Violence Charges: What’s Next for the VPR Star?

James Kennedy‘s legal troubles are ending.

Previously arrested for a misdemeanor domestic violence incident on December 10, the former star of “Vanderpump Rules” will not be prosecuted in this case.

According to his lawyer’s statement, released on January 22nd and obtained by TopMob News, there will be no legal action taken against James Kennedy, as confirmed by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office. The lawyer expressed gratitude for their diligent and proficient investigation into the matter concerning his client.

Furthermore, it was established through thorough examination that, as we’ve consistently asserted, there was no basis for accusing Mr. Kennedy of any wrongdoing.

Kennedy’s lawyer also gave insight on how the 32-year-old is feeling about his next steps.

James feels relieved that this issue is now resolved, and he’s eager to concentrate more on his journey towards sobriety and his career as a DJ from hereon.

On December 10th, at approximately 11:20 pm, law enforcement officers were summoned to a residence in the Los Angeles vicinity as per the Burbank Police Department, due to reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they apprehended the reality TV personality, who has been in a relationship with Ally Lewber for two years. He was then transported to a nearby police station, where he subsequently posted bail.

A week after the ordeal, Kennedy spoke out to address the arrest.

He expressed his dedication towards bringing about significant transformations in his life by stating on his Instagram Story on December 17th: “I’m prioritizing my efforts to better myself, with a focus on maintaining my sobriety, nurturing personal development, and being there for those dear to me.

In difficult times, I find it’s no walk in the park, but I am resolute about learning, evolving, and pushing ahead, all while being uplifted by the amazing network of support I have.

As for Lewber, she also issued a statement on the situation.

28-year-old expressed gratitude to those who reached out with affection and concern via Instagram Stories, mentioning December 14th as the date. She confirmed she is alright and using the moment for self-care. She values the compassion and understanding of her privacy during these circumstances.

It’s important to remember that the entire series stemmed from Scheana Shay’s affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Brandi Glanville from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at the time. Scheana dated him while Brandi was pregnant with their second child, and their dramatic confrontation at SUR, arranged by Lisa Vanderpump, marked the transition from one episode of RHOBH to Vanderpump Rules. A very sly (and messy) crossover indeed!

During the whole first season, Jax Taylor maintained he hadn’t been unfaithful to his girlfriend Stassi Schroeder. However, in the final episode, he confesses that, indeed, he had an affair with another woman in Las Vegas, which resulted in her becoming pregnant.

In the heat of the situation, I had found myself surrounded by allies who stood by my side during our split. However, when I revealed the truth about our past, even they were left astonished, much like Stassi herself.

In the second season, one of the most notorious romantic entanglements occurred when Jax admitted to sleeping with Kristen Doute, a close friend of Stassi, who coincidentally was in a relationship with Jax’s good friend Tom Sandoval at the time.

Initially denying the allegation, Kristen eventually acknowledged that they had a non-kissing encounter during the final episode. Notably, this took place while Tom was sound asleep in another room and they were both watching the movie ‘Drive’ starring Ryan Gosling. This series of events ultimately led to Stassi delivering a slap on Kristen’s face, with Tom striking Jax as well.

Seasons later, Kristen later admitted to cheating on Tom throughout their six-year relationship.

Following the arrival of Ariana Madix in the second season, Kristen began harboring doubts about Tom’s friendship with his coworker bartender. Despite their repeated denials that anything romantic had transpired between them while Tom was still dating Kristen, a notable incident occurred when Ariana, in response to Kristen’s persistent concerns, famously stated, “I’m more intelligent than you. I’m more attractive than you. Just move on,” which was followed by the expletive-laden phrase, “Get over it.” However, during the season two reunion, Tom eventually confessed that he and Ariana shared a kiss in a pool while they were both in Las Vegas.

When Andy Cohen inquired if she had concerns about Tom’s past infidelities after he admitted to cheating on Kristen several times, Ariana responded, “I’ve been acquainted with him for three years. I know him quite well. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest.” (A gentle sigh.)

In season three, Kristen disclosed that a woman contacted her via Instagram, claiming to have had a romantic encounter with Tom while he was in Miami with Jax and Schwartz. This “Miami Girl” was later brought into SUR by Kristen to confront Tom about the allegations. However, Ariana didn’t find the claim credible after Tom strongly denied it, and the couple left without addressing the issue further.

In that moment, it appeared as though I supported a controversial statement made by my friend, seemingly betraying him. Following Tom and Ariana’s split in 2023, I, having departed from the show in 2020, shared an enigmatic post on Twitter.

He wrote, “On that program, I’ve made statements that many doubted. However, everything I’ve said has ultimately proven to be accurate.

Following their marriage in 2016, Tom Schwartz admitted to having a drunken kiss with one of Lala Kent’s companions during the sixth season.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but reflect on a tale involving Schwartz. When questioned about the incident, his recollections seemed hazy. “Impossible! No, it wasn’t,” he asserted in a 2018 episode. “Sure, I recall visiting The Bungalow, but I swear I didn’t share any romantic moments with anyone. I was absolutely smashed that night, and that part is a blur, but the drinking spree, yes, I remember that vividly.

Later on, Schwartz expresses confusion about his actions during a private reflection, stating, “I’m genuinely puzzled.

However, Schwartz had previously cheated on Katie when he was intoxicated in season three, confessing that he kissed another woman during one of his drunken episodes.

After 12 years together, Katie and Schwartz announced their breakup in March 2022.

In a 2014 television broadcast, Jax accused Katie of infidelity towards Schwartz by “motorboating” an unidentified man. He learned this information from Scheana. Katie was outraged by the accusation, and later on, Scheana expressed her apologies to her fellow cast member.

In a Bravo blog post, Scheana clarified, “I never accused her of cheating; I shared my observations instead. After discussing the matter with Katie, I now understand it wasn’t as it appeared. When she bent over to remove her shoes, her head was in that area. Additionally, when she was intoxicated and dancing, her movements seemed like she was ‘motorboating’ this guy. However, she did not cheat. My statement was that she stepped over a line.

After thorough investigation, such as examining Uber bills, Kristen discovered that her boyfriend, James Kennedy, had been unfaithful to her with one of Scheana’s friends during season four. He initially denied it to her directly, merely suggesting they might have shared a kiss, but later confessed in an interview, “The reality is, Jenna and I were definitely involved physically.” Thus, a new iconic GIF was created!

Not only did James cheat on Kristen that one instance, but it was discovered later that he had also been unfaithful to her by engaging in relationships with Lala (who thought he was single) and Lauren, a SUR hostess who was involved with another employee at the restaurant while they were together.

Following his split from Kristen, James started seeing Raquel Leviss, a student and beauty pageant competitor, in the fifth season. However, their relationship was tainted by cheating accusations. This happened when Scheana and Kristen unexpectedly showed up at one of James’ DJ performances with three ex-employees from SUR who all alleged that they had been intimate with him during his relationship with Raquel. They even managed to take pictures of James asleep as evidence.

James refuted every account provided by the women, and he and Raquel carried on dating until 2021, when they ended their engagement following a five-year relationship. After their separation, it was later revealed that James had been intimate with Lala at the start of his involvement with Raquel.

In an interview with TopMob News in February, Raquel admitted, “I used to be quite innocent and I believed James had never been unfaithful to me. However, I’ve come to realize now that he has cheated on me numerous times. It was a tough truth to accept.

2017 saw yet another cheating controversy for Jax, this time involving ex-SUR waitress Faith Stowers. Initially, he denied the allegations in the premiere of season six. However, after his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright confronted him, while he was wearing a Taco Bell sweatshirt, Jax eventually admitted to the indiscretion.

Jax admitted in a private conversation that this wasn’t his first instance of getting caught for dishonesty. Previously, he had spent numerous months denying the accusations, but it didn’t prove beneficial for him. He further explained that his relationship with Brittany had faced some turbulence (as depicted in their 2017 spinoff, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky), which ultimately led him to be involved with Faith.

Oh boy, when Jax confessed, it shattered me to pieces, that girl Brittany, she let out her famous “Rot in hell!” I was right there with her. At first, they parted ways, but you know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. They made up and tied the knot in June 2019. Fast forward two years later, their son, little Cruz, joined the family.

2023-03-03 left me absolutely stunned! The world of BCU (Bravo Cinematic Universe) crumbled around me, as I learned about the split between Tom and Ariana after nine years, following the shocking news that he had a seven-month affair with Raquel. As an ardent fan, it’s hard to process this heartbreaking turn of events.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on March 8th, the co-owner of TomTom admitted to making mistakes, acting selfishly, and making rash decisions that caused harm to someone dear to them. No one should have to endure such intense and public pain.

He commented, “What saddens me most is that I let down Ariana. It was never my intention to cause disappointment for so many people, especially our cherished family members and friends.

Apart from apologizing publicly to Ariana, Raquel admitted there was no justification for her behavior. Regarding her future with Tom, she made additional comments in another statement.

According to a statement made by Raquel to TopMob News, she expressed the importance of focusing on personal health, self-improvement, and embracing solitude. She emphasized her concern for Tom, preferring not to define their relationship or predict its future course. At this moment, she stated that she needs time to recover.
