As per reports from NBC News and the Beverly Hills Police Department, they responded to a potential assault involving a deadly weapon around 10 p.m. that evening.
According to the BHPD’s announcement, it was discovered during an inquiry that the alleged attack using a dangerous weapon didn’t actually occur. Instead, the situation involved a physical fight among the individuals. The BHPD carried out a preliminary examination and filed a report detailing the incident of battery. No one was arrested as a result.
The Django Unchained star’s rep also later confirmed the incident in a statement to NBC News.
At his birthday celebration, Jamie Foxx was struck by a shattered glass thrown from another table, according to statements made by his representative to NBC News on December 14th. He required stitches for his injury and is currently recuperating. The authorities were contacted, and the incident is now being handled by law enforcement.
The event occurred shortly after Jamie Foxx’s Netflix comedy special, titled “What Had Happened Was…,” was released. This marked the first time Jamie, who is the father of Corrine Fox (30) and Anelise Bishop (16), publicly discussed the brain bleed that resulted in a stroke, keeping him hospitalized for 20 days in 2023.
