Jamie Lee Curtis’s Wild Take On Michael B. Jordan’s Head Will Shock You!

As if the anticipation for Ryan Coogler’s reunion with Michael B. Jordan couldn’t get any more exciting, it received another glowing review. Jamie Lee Curtis, a beloved actress among fans, shared her thoughts on social media after watching Sinners, emphasizing the true cinematic experience that big-screen filmmaking offers. Having had the privilege to watch the movie in 70mm IMAX, she admitted that she’s never felt Michael B. Jordan’s head looked as impressive as it did!

Though she may not be thrilled about the latest horror films, the long-standing Scream Queen has always been an ardent supporter of live theatre and daring, innovative narratives. She recently posted about her experiences with the movie “Sinners” on Instagram, coincidentally timed with Warner Bros.’ announcement of a select 70mm IMAX re-release for their 2025 film lineup. Take a look at her post featuring an impressive photo.

What a fantastic picture you’ve got there! A full-height cinema screen that looks like it’s packed with audience members? I’d love to go, if you’re inviting!

It’s delightful for me as a follower to learn that the blockbuster run of “Sinners'” IMAX version has been remarkable. Therefore, it’s fantastic news that Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed vampire film will return to premium screens from May 15 to May 21. Clearly, the audience can’t seem to get enough of this captivating production.

I’m really envious that Curtis got to see the movie in its full “IMAX” splendor, as he mentioned in his post. From what he wrote, it seems Curtis was impressed by the format’s capabilities and the artistic skills showcased in the film.

The movie in 70 mm IMAX left a lasting impression on me, as it showcases the pinnacle of cinematic expression. Masterpieces like this one stir your mind and compel you to delve deeper into its themes. The intricacies of the filmmaking, from its historical and narrative depth to its visuals and soundtrack, linger long after viewing. I can’t wait to watch it multiple times more. I admire and applaud the artists who brought this film to life, as well as the audience for recognizing its uniqueness and artistic merit in every frame.

As a cinephile, I’m eager to share my excitement about Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners,” where Michael B. Jordan masterfully plays twin brothers on a quest to rebuild their lives in their hometown, but they’re met with an ominous force connected to their past. This gripping tale has already amassed $122.5 million within the U.S., and an additional $161.6 million globally – all on a budget of just $90 million! What truly stands out is that IMAX contributed an impressive 20% to its opening weekend earnings, demonstrating that viewers aren’t merely attending; they’re yearning for the most captivating, immersive cinematic experience possible.

The upcoming rerelease will appear in famous IMAX venues such as Los Angeles’ City Walk Stadium 19, New York’s Lincoln Square, and Toronto’s Colossus IMAX. Based on Variety’s report, Warner Bros. attributed the “massive public and critical acclaim” as the main reason for making this decision.

More on Sinners

Among the events that took place this week, my favorite one was Michael B. Jordan reacting to Tom Cruise encountering sinners in a movie theater.

Featuring a star-studded lineup with Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, among others, and spearheaded by Zinzi Coogler along with veterans from Black Panther, Sinners showcases bold visuals and deep, thought-provoking themes. As Jamie Lee Curtis emphasized, this movie leaves a lasting impression even after the screen turns off.

It would be highly recommended, if possible, to take the time and watch the film “Sinners” or rewatch it in a 70mm IMAX format, as larger often proves superior. In other news, the new project of Jamie Lee Curtis, titled “Freakier Friday“, is scheduled for release on August 8, 2025.
