Simultaneously, Michael Kogge writes and Dan Parsons illustrates a Young Conan tale. Joe Jusko and Alex Horley contribute with cover art.
Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar teamed up once more for Marvel’s “King Conan” series, taking the iconic character on a journey further into the future than any previous Conan tale. Be prepared for what awaits King Conan when issue #5 of “Savage Sword of Conan” hits shelves on October 30th.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2023, editor Matt Murray made this statement when introducing The Savage Sword of Conan: “Since revealing our new comic book line, fans and creators have been eagerly demanding the comeback of this famous title – but only if it returned in its classic black-and-white anthology magazine form. Keeping this a secret has been challenging for us at Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics, but we’re confident that we can meet expectations and continue the legacy of the original. With our current roster of writers and artists, as well as those we’re in discussions with, we believe we can create an enthralling new chapter in Conan’s fierce saga.”
For fans of Conan, don’t miss out on San Diego Comic-Con to discover more announcements and unveilings from Titan Comics. ComicBook has previously shared sneak peeks of the unique Conan the Barbarian cover editions that will only be accessible at Comic-Con.
