Jason Kelce’s Emotional Post to Travis Kelce After Super Bowl Loss

Jason Kelce has nothing but game-winning support.

After the Super Bowl LIX, which took place on February 9th in New Orleans, the host of New Heights posted a message. In this game, his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, emerged victorious against his brother, Travis Kelce, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: After taking some time to reflect on my feelings, I was able to compose a heartfelt message commending my incredible brother on his recent achievements with his former team. Moreover, I couldn’t help but acknowledge the proud parents, Donna Kelce and Ed Kelce, who had the unique experience of watching us compete against each other during the Super Bowl in 2023. What a remarkable moment for all of us!

Jason shared on X (previously known as Twitter) on Feb 10th that the game was challenging for him to watch. He had always expected a rollercoaster of feelings before, during, and after the game, and it mirrored his parents’ experience two years ago. He felt torn because he wanted his brother to excel, but also deeply cared about many individuals in the Philadelphia Eagles team, including teammates and coaches who had contributed significantly to his own success.

Jason then went on to highlight his younger brother’s accomplishments.

Regarding my brother, there isn’t a person I cherish more deeply. It’s been challenging to grapple with these emotions, but I empathize with him, continually supporting his journey. However, I recognize that he doesn’t require nor desires my sympathy. He has achieved greatness that very few could ever aspire to, as has his team, and they should take pride in their accomplishments this season and throughout history.

He also mentioned, “At this moment, they’re likely reflecting on last night and the flaws from their previous match. However, given some time, those memories will grow dim, and the incredible prowess they’ve shown as a team will endure, leaving behind one of the most formidable football eras in history.

Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that even though Jason triumphed in the 2018 Super Bowl with the Eagles, he continued to show nothing but affection towards his previous team, which was spearheaded by quarterback Jalen Hurts and coach Nick Sirianni.

I’m incredibly proud of Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianni, and the entire team. They’ve shown incredible resilience, silenced their critics impressively, and undeniably proved themselves as the best team this season,” he expressed. “It’s exceptionally tough for an NFL team to amass the right blend of talent, coaching, luck, and character to win a Super Bowl.

He went on to say, ‘The unique style and confidence of this Eagles team was a sight to behold, a genuine reflection of the resilience and determination that defines Philadelphia.’

Jason concluded his message, bubbling with anticipation, mentioning his eagerness to watch the Eagles in their homecoming parade, and wrapped it up with a last cheerful “Let’s go, Birds!

In a surprising turn of events, the Eagles managed to outscore the Chiefs 40-22, leaving Patrick Mahomes and his team, who were aiming to secure a historic third straight Super Bowl win and break the record for consecutive championship rings, disappointed.

In a subsequent note, Jason further clarified why he removed the original celebratory post for the Eagles, which was previously posted on the New Heights Instagram account.

Jason explained to a fan on Twitter why he removed a graphic containing multiple photos of him: “I wanted that post to focus on the guys who actually won, not myself. I didn’t win anything in this instance, so it felt odd to congratulate them with a lot of images of me.
