Jason Ritter can’t seem to crack Melanie Lynskey‘s poker face.
The actor from Matlock hasn’t been told anything about his wife’s character’s plotline in the second season of Poker Face, even though he himself appears as a guest star in the latest episode of the Peacock series.
During the TopMob premiere live stream on May 1st, Jason privately shared with Will Marfuggi and Erin Lim Rhodes: “I inquire about it, but she remains silent regarding my questions.
To be precise, Melanie, aged 47, maintains a strict policy of not revealing secrets from any television series she watches, as stated by the individual in question who is 45 years old.
He joked that he would have forgotten any spoilers by the time he watched, yet he remained adamant about not wanting to know them in the first place.
Meanwhile, Jason expressed that it was fine if he found out, but Melanie believed she was being helpful to her partner by keeping quiet about the details of her role on the comedy-crime series premiering May 8, which presents a fresh mystery to unravel in every episode, starring Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, the detective character.
As she put it to TopMob, “I won’t ruin it.”
For Melanie, it’s just as enjoyable for her to watch Jason’s appearance, since, like herself, she also hasn’t watched his episode yet.
I can’t help but express my excitement about the upcoming season of that amazing show, where I get to see Jason strut his stuff once more! This time around, we’ve got a stellar cast including Justin Theroux, Kumail Nanjiani, Cynthia Erivo, and Katie Holmes, just to name a few. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm!
“There’s a little fighting in my episode,” he hinted, “so we’ll see what happens.”
One aspect of their job that Melanie will share with her husband? Practicing their lines.
Jason added, “She’ll help me out sometimes, but I need more help than she does.”
The series “Poker Face” will start airing on Peacock on May 8th. Until then, take a look at other celebrities who attended the premiere of its second season.
