The mutiny is actually the title of his latest action movie that began production this week. It’s being directed by Jean-Francois Richet, who has previously delivered the entertaining Gerard Butler action film ‘Plane’, and a remake of John Carpenter’s ‘Assault on Precinct 13’.
In this rephrased version, the story revolves around Jason Statham’s character, Cole Reed. Reed, who was once part of elite Special Forces and a New York cop, currently works in private security. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he is falsely accused of murdering his friend Tibu, a wealthy Thai shipping magnate. To clear his name and find the actual culprit, Reed embarks on a journey that exposes widespread corruption and an intricate international conspiracy. Additionally, viewers can expect numerous confrontations with shady characters, as our hero dishes out some well-deserved justice!
Sky Original Film has secured the rights for the UK release of the film ‘Mutiny’.
