Yet, surprisingly, the 45-year-old confessed that he had not anticipated Brittany would go so far as to fire the gun and leave the familiar family home in February.
When she chose to depart, I found myself taken aback, admitted the Bravo personality who has a 3-year-old son named Cruz with Brittany. “In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have been so surprised, but I certainly was.
Jax openly discussed his recent 30-day spell at a psychiatric clinic, where he received diagnoses for Bipolar Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
He shared his experience, saying, “Upon arriving, I initially detested it, but then I found myself falling in love with it. I didn’t want to depart at all. I truly didn’t. Contrary to speculation, it was not infidelity by Jax that led to their split; instead, Brittany clarified the accurate sequence of events leading up to their separation.

She mentioned, “I’m taking this action to ensure my mental wellbeing,” and she strongly affirmed her choice to take a break.
Regardless of their personal differences, the separated pair found common ground: Their decisions were centered around the wellbeing of their 2-year-old child.
Jax made it clear to TopMob that there’s no dispute between them – he’s clearly the top choice. Brittany admitted in March that “there’s always hope,” but she just needs Jax to put in the work.
Brittany told TopMob, “I doubt anyone else will ever love Jax as deeply as I have. We’ve been through thick and thin together over the years, and I stand by his side no matter what. If he makes some changes I’ve requested, there might be a chance for us to reunite. But for now, I need time to focus on myself. I’m very proud of my decision to put myself first, and my mental health is my top priority.
One individual who didn’t seem overly surprised by Jax and Brittany’s split? Their previous SUR manager, Lisa Vanderpump.
