Brittany Cartwright is giving Jax Taylor a sobering ultimatum.

On the April 22 episode of Bravo’s The Valley, tempers flared dramatically among the cast members as Jax was about to check into a rehabilitation center while going through a tumultuous divorce.

When Jax returned to their L.A. residence to prepare for a month-long treatment stint, his wife Brittany angrily accused him of having a woman over for a rendezvous the previous night, which triggered a surprising outburst from the ex-star of SUR.

She cautioned Jax not to kiss their son Cruz on the face as he greeted him, explaining, “You were with a woman who left a bad taste yesterday. I’m not sure if you’ve taken a shower yet, so please avoid kissing him on the face for now.

In a confessional, Jax finally acknowledged his need for professional help.

The former star of “Vanderpump Rules” mentioned that he will be spending thirty days at a treatment center. He previously disclosed his struggle with cocaine addiction and recent road to sobriety last month. He stated, “I am losing control and I don’t realize it. Perhaps I’m unable to see it, but I’m making this decision for my son. I wouldn’t want her to take him away from me, and if I must go through this to prevent that, then I will.

Furthermore, Brittany informed her former partner that she no longer recognized him, following his aggressive act of turning over a table during a fit of rage about her dating one of Jax’s friends, during the period of their separation.

As Jax implored, “Couldn’t you just drop by to see how I’ve been?”, Brittany retorted sharply, “You alarmed and pained me! You require assistance.

During our intense argument, she remarked, “You’re behaving in an appalling manner,” and then continued, “It’s crucial that you seek help, not just for your sake, but also for the well-being of our child. I don’t want him to turn out like you.”

Despite all her anger, Brittany hoped Jax’s rehab stay would improve his well-being.

If you decide not to remain for the entire 30 days, I will immediately file legal papers, seek full custody of Cruz, and secure a restraining order against you, she cautioned him strongly. Additionally, your job is at risk here. Your behavior is irrational; it’s as if you’re not in your right mind. I don’t want you causing trouble in town, getting intoxicated, using drugs, or associating with disreputable individuals.

Brittany then brought up Jax’s struggle with drug addiction on camera for the very first time.

She went on to say, “It appears you’re struggling with an addiction, Jax. It’s important that you’re truthful with your physician about this. You see, there seems to be a concern regarding your cocaine use. Many people are aware of it. I suggest you openly discuss this issue with your doctor.

In response to his statement, “Have you never done any?”, an impassioned Brittany countered, “I’m not denying that I haven’t, but it seems like you’re the one with the addiction problem here. Why don’t we both take a drug test right now? I’ll pass, will you?

When Jax departed for rehabilitation, Brittany disclosed the authentic cause for her decision to tackle her ex-partner’s drug issues at last.

Contrary to speculations, it was not infidelity on Jax’s part that led to Brittany and him parting ways; instead, she disclosed the accurate sequence of events leading up to their split.
