Jay White Throws Top Star Through a Table Upon AEW Dynamite Return: Watch

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that the return of Jay White to AEW is a game-changer! The anticipation for his comeback has been palpable, and now that he’s back in action, it feels like we’re witnessing a new era unfold.

Five years since the debut of AEW Dynamite, “Hangman” Adam Page clashed with Juice Robinson in a rematch triggered by their intense strap match from last week. In this latest encounter, Hangman emerged triumphant, landing a sneaky low blow and finishing off with the Buckshot Lariat. Yet, it seemed their rivalry wasn’t over – especially for Hangman. The cowboy persisted in attacking Robinson, leading his stablemate Jay White to intervene and provide assistance.

For the past several months, “Switchblade” White has been out of action on AEW TV due to an injury. However, rumors surfaced that he was present at a recent taping, suggesting he might be medically cleared to perform soon. In a recent match, White confronted Hangman and delivered a strong blow onto a pre-arranged table during their encounter. Given that his last bout was against Hangman in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semifinals, where he lost, it seems fitting for them to face off again at WrestleDream towards the end of this month.

Robinson shared with ComicBook this week that Jay is taking a deliberate approach. Occasionally, patience is necessary in our line of work, and it seems Jay is using this time to improve even more. Naturally, we’re thrilled about his return because when the four of us are together, we believe we’re at our strongest and could face off against any quartet. We, like everyone else, are eagerly anticipating the return of King Switch.

For several months now, Hangman has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with ex-AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. However, their conflict seems to have temporarily ended since Swerve is recuperating from his wounds at the AEW All Out event. When he makes his comeback, it looks like he’ll find himself dealing with The Hurt Business, whose roster has been expanded to include Shelton Benjamin. Meanwhile, Robinson and White are back from their injuries, which could help revitalize the Bang Bang Gang once more. Prior to their unfortunate injuries, this group had held the AEW World Trios Championships.

I’d love to hear your perspective on the ongoing rivalry between Hangman and Jay White! What are your thoughts on X and Bluesky, @haleyanne_? Keep an eye out on ComicBook for the latest news about AEW!
