Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s Wedding Invite Reveals Gift to Guests

Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez are doing away with one major wedding tradition.

In preparation for their grand wedding ceremony in Venice, Italy, the pair have clearly outlined expectations for their guests, as reported by TopMob News from a copy of their invitations.

The invitation stated, “We can’t wait for you to be a part of our group!” However, just a heads up, we kindly ask that you don’t bring any gifts with you.

Instead of receiving gifts, the couple – who made their relationship official in 2019 and got engaged in 2023 – announced that they will donate to local charities in their supporters’ names as a way of expressing gratitude for everyone who traveled to attend their destination wedding.

The invitation further explained that contributions are being made in your name to three different organizations: UNESCO Venice Office for the preservation of this city’s unique cultural legacy, CORILA for the rehabilitation of crucial lagoon ecosystems essential for Venice’s longevity, and Venice International University to fund research and education initiatives aimed at discovering sustainable solutions.

In their letter, they expressed their intention, which is to maintain the city’s ability to awe future generations.

As their wedding drew closer, Jeff (age 61) and Lauren (age 55) have been relishing Europe‘s sights. On June 22nd, they threw a foam party on Jeff’s $500 million yacht off the coast of Croatia, which also served as a 19th birthday celebration for their son Evan.

Last month, Lauren, who has Evan and 17-year-old daughter Ella with ex-partner Patrick Whitesell, as well as Nikko Gonzalez, 24, with ex-partner Tony Gonzalez, celebrated her upcoming wedding by throwing a bachelorette party. The event was attended by Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Kris Jenner, and Eva Longoria.

In an Instagram post, she expressed that the journey of eternity begins with friendships. She was surrounded by these incredible friends who have uplifted her, guided her during tough times, and subtly molded her throughout their shared experiences.
