Jenelle Evans Speaks Out on Death of David Eason’s Ex-GF’s Daughter

Jenelle Evans is sending love to Olivia Leedham.

Regardless of her ongoing divorce process with David Eason, the Teen Mom celebrity extended a supportive message to his former girlfriend after the heartbreaking demise of her 7-year-old daughter, Lailah Price.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, published on June 12th, she expressed her heartfelt sympathies and prayers to David’s former partner. She finds it difficult to fathom the emotions she must be experiencing at this moment.

On June 8, a GoFundMe campaign was started by a friend of Leedham’s to assist with her living costs during the upcoming months following an unexpected tragedy.

The fundraiser’s description stated: “Yesterday, our dear friend Olivia Leedham endured an unspeakable tragedy – the loss of her seven-year-old daughter Lailah Price. Despite multiple visits to the emergency room, Lailah never received a diagnosis. On Friday night, while in the hospital, she suffered a seizure and passed away early on June 7th.

For several years, we’ve shared a close bond with this family. Lailah, radiant as the sun among them, cherished life deeply and held a strong faith in Jesus.

Leedham, who is likewise the mother of 10-year-old son Kaden, whom she shares with Eason, often expressed affectionate sentiments about her kids on social media platforms. This includes a touching tribute dedicated to her deceased daughter, which she posted in May 2024.

In a post on Instagram, she expressed how her daughter consistently astounds her each day. She admires her lovely spirit and intelligence, praises her exceptional character, and feels immense pride in her unique identity. ‘I adore you, my dear Lailah insect,’ she added.

Following their separation, Leedham and Evans became parents to daughter Ensley, who was born in 2017, and they got married later that year. However, Evans initiated legal separation proceedings – a necessary prerequisite for divorce in North Carolina lasting a year – in early 2024, marking nearly seven years of marriage. More recently, Evans has taken steps to finalize the divorce.

In a recent exclusive interview with TopMob News, Evans shared that he has applied for a final divorce. Fingers crossed, once the necessary documents are signed, he will regain his previous surname.
