On September 17, the former star of “The Bachelorette” appeared for the first time on “Dancing With the Stars”. Interestingly, Jonathan Johnson, who finished third in her season, was present in the live audience to cheer her on after her emotional split from Devin Strader.
Jenn shared with TopMob News exclusively following the season 33 premiere of DWTS that Jonathan is an exceptional friend of hers. “I’ve recently relocated to Los Angeles, and I don’t know many people here,” she explained. “Having him as a support has been wonderful, and he’s proven to be a pillar of strength for me. Moreover, he’s simply a fantastic friend.
Currently viewing them as friends only, but the beloved figure from Bachelor Nation hinted at the possibility of exploring a deeper relationship with Jonathan in the future.
Jenn made it clear, “We’re very close friends indeed, but I must stress ‘never’ is not a word I’d use lightly.” She added, “In my opinion, strong relationships often begin as friendships. He expressed his excitement, saying, “Although we briefly discussed it earlier, I’m thrilled that you’re coming to LA! I can’t wait for us to create some fantastic memories together!
Indeed, the duo has already been spending time together since the season’s explosive finale and After The Final Rose special, during which it was revealed that Devin had broken up with Jenn during a 15-minute phone call two months after he proposed to her after receiving her final rose.
Jenn and Jonathan initially reconnected through a sequence of mysterious TikTok posts on September 8th. They later appeared together on the red carpet at an event on September 13th.
In her interview with NBC Asian America, which was published on September 17th, the ex-Bachelorette expressed that Jonathan has been a beacon of positivity throughout their journey. She didn’t find a fiancé in this experience, but she did gain an exceptional friend, a truly good person, and that fills her with excitement.
