As a longtime fan of Matthew Perry, it is truly heartwarming to reminisce about his illustrious career and colorful journey through Hollywood. From his iconic role as Chandler Bing in Friends to his forays into film, such as 17 Again, The Whole Ten Yards, and Mr. Sunshine, Perry has left an indelible mark on television and cinema alike.

Jennifer Aniston is holding her memories of Matthew Perry tight.

In remembrance of her Friends co-star’s first anniversary since passing, Aniston posted some emotional pictures of them together. Her caption read “1 year,” accompanied by a heart, bandaid, and white dove emojis.

In these nostalgic photos, the 55-year-old reminisced about special instances from the Friends set, featuring a snapshot of herself, Perry, as well as the main cast members such as Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer all gathered for a heartwarming group hug.

On October 28, 2023, Perry was sadly discovered deceased at the age of 54 in his Los Angeles home’s hot tub. It was later ascertained that acute ketamine overdose was the main reason for his untimely death. Five individuals have since been indicted in relation to this incident, among them being Dr. Mark Chavez from California, who admitted guilt earlier this month for conspiring to supply ketamine to Perry.

In the family interview with Savannah Guthrie of Today on October 25, Perry’s stepfather Keith Morrison stated his and the agencies’ hope that those who profit by providing drugs leading to death have been warned. Regardless of your professional standing, you are facing consequences, he emphasized.

In the meantime, Suzanne Morrison, Perry’s mom, expressed her joy as charges have been brought forth in the case. (Dr. Salvador Plasencia, the source of the drugs for Perry, and Jasveen Sangha, nicknamed the “ketamine queen,” the alleged drug dealer, both pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiracy to distribute ketamine, according to NBC News. Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s assistant, and Erik Fleming, a friend of Perry, on the other hand, admitted guilt for ketamine-related charges and are now waiting for sentencing.)

Members of the family associated with “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” granted infrequent interviews as the anniversary of Perry’s sad demise drew near.

Suzanne remembered one of her last talks with her son, noting that his words seemed destined or fated, which unsettled her then.

“He said, ‘I’m not frightened anymore,’” she recalled. “And it worried me.”

The actor from “17 Again” (Zac Efron), Caitlin Morrison, his half-sister, has recently shared thoughts about his passing and the way she recalls him.

In an interview with Hello magazine, published on October 23, the 43-year-old described him as someone who could radiate light into a space. His presence was magnetic; when people were around him, they felt drawn to him. They’d smile and eagerly listen to everything he said.
