As a seasoned observer of celebrity lifestyle and habits, I must say that it’s fascinating to delve into the bathing routines of our beloved stars. While some seem to be firm believers in daily ablutions (looking at you, Dax Shepard), others appear to have a more… relaxed approach (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, I’m looking at you).
Jenny Mollen is setting the record straight.
In response to a news story about her, the author of “City of Likes,” who is wed to actor Jason Biggs, acknowledged that she had knowingly traveled by air for five hours while carrying head lice.
On her Instagram Story dated November 14, Mollen expressed surprise: “Who in their right mind would choose to spend five hours with lice on their head during a flight, knowing they already had them?!” However, she clarified, “It turns out I didn’t realize I had lice until I had a subsequent head examination later that night.
In the Instagram post dated October 29th, Mollen revealed that her friend inspected her scalp during a flight, as she had found lice that she initially believed were due to perimenopause symptoms causing itching.
She stated that she has head lice and believes she knows the source. She won’t publicly accuse this person, but the individual is well aware of their involvement.
Mollen, mother to Sid (10) and Lazlo (7), who’s also known as the American Pie star, mentioned that she had a section of her hair covered with a plastic bag, which she obtained from the in-flight headphones, in an effort to safeguard fellow passengers.
She mentioned that she’s never encountered lice before and is unsure of how to handle the situation. For the past fortnight, she’s been experiencing an itch, suggesting that they’ve been dwelling on her for that same period.
On Oct. 30 she shared an update from home, saying her house was “infested with lice.”
She mentioned that they all had a problem with pests, “They were infested,” she said. Sid, Lazlo, and even Jason were dealing with it. In Jason’s case, there were two of the tiny creatures laying eggs.
However, she placed the blame for the length of her infection on the Orange Is the New Black star.
She stated, “I’d rather point the finger at my husband for not scrutinizing my scalp carefully enough.” She had asked him, “Is there any chance I have lice? Can you spot anything?” To which he replied, “No.
Regarding her feelings about sitting in an airplane seat and possibly spreading lice to other passengers, Mollen expressed, “It’s unfortunate for the person seated beside me. I should clarify, I wasn’t aware I had lice until I was already on the plane.

In July 2021, the couple discussed personal hygiene routines on the Armchair Expert podcast. Mila revealed that she doesn’t wash her body with soap every day, while Ashton admitted to washing only his armpits and crotch daily, never anything else.
The representative of Prada’s Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance shared with Vanity Fair: “I’m discovering that I bathe less frequently, on occasion. In addition, I believe there’s a vast array of options beyond bathing that can actually benefit skin health, as our bodies have an inherent ability to clean themselves.
The star of “Jungle Cruise” shared on Twitter that they are not like celebrities who don’t wash themselves. They start their day with a cold shower, follow it up with a warm one after their workout, then a hot one when they get home from work. They also cleanse their face and body, exfoliate, and sing (out of key) in the shower.
On The View, Dax explained that we used to wash our kids every evening before bed as part of a regular routine. But strangely enough, they began sleeping on their own without this routine, and now we find ourselves asking, “When was the last time you gave them a bath?
Kristen said, “I really enjoy giving things time to get smelly, because once you notice the odor, it signals that it’s time to clean it.
The reality TV personality from the show The Real Housewives of New York City posted on Twitter: “Is it alright if I confess that my daughter bathes every day in our household?” She added, “Bathing offers cleaning, relaxation, and aids sleep. I’ve emphasized good hygiene since she was born. Could my firm stance be considered extreme?
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase that statement as follows: “Rest assured, I prioritize personal hygiene – I bathe regularly. After all, I am Aquaman, and water is my element. Fret not about it. Being raised in Hawaii, I am no stranger to the ocean and its salty waters, so I’m always fresh and clean.
During the production of “Inglourious Basterds,” an actor suggested some unusual hygiene advice to his fellow cast members. He suggested that when you’re perspiring and can’t take a bath, you simply use a wet wipe to clean your armpits instead. In 2009, friend Eli Roth shared this tip with People magazine, mentioning an instance where Brad Pitt had to share a close-up scene with him after a heated scene. Pitt commented on Pitt’s body odor, saying “You’re ripe,” to which Pitt replied, “I didn’t have time for a shower.” Pitt then advised, “Baby wipes, man, baby wipes.
