For Ackles, displaying his badge is routine, but there was one specific aspect of his latest character that he found tricky: “I had to grapple with police jargon, using abbreviations and acronyms, which isn’t something I’m overly familiar with,” he explained. “We had consultants to assist us with this. Most of my queries were about the meanings of these abbreviations and getting comfortable with the terminology, not about how to break down a door.
Fans of Supernatural are well aware that Jared Ackles excels at breaking down doors, pursuing villains, and wielding a wide array of weapons.
