Jeremiah Duggar’s Wife Hannah Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3

As I delve deeper into the captivating lives of the Duggar family, I am truly mesmerized by their journey. Each child, unique in their own way, is a testament to resilience, faith, and the unwavering love that binds this extraordinary family together.

You can always count on the Duggars to expand their family.

On Christmas Day, Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar revealed they’re expecting their third daughter. They shared on Instagram that life with their two daughters, Brynley Noelle (age 2) and Brielle Grace (10 months), has been wonderful, and they are thrilled to be welcoming another little girl into their family in the late spring of next year!

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: In a heartwarming snapshot, I find myself gazing upon the delightful scene of Jeremiah, one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children, along with his sister Hannah, tenderly cradling their two precious little daughters. They pose gracefully, showcasing a pair of adorable pink baby shoes.

As Jessa Duggar, one of TLC’s stars, responded with a heart-filled emoji, Elizabeth Joy Wissmann, Hannah’s sister, expressed her excitement by saying, “This is absolutely fantastic! Can’t wait to welcome the new baby girl into our lives!

She also included her other sister, Alaythia Wissmann, exclaiming, “Simply fantastic! I can hardly wait to meet her!” Similarly, Charissa Wissmann added her excitement, “Oh boy!!!! Cannot wait to meet the little one!

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m delighted to share an update on my sphere of acquaintances. In this case, it’s none other than Hannah’s brother, Stephen Wissmann, who has tied the knot with Jeremiah’s sister, Jana Duggar.

Jeremiah, aged 25, playfully remarked that he preferred the previous Duggar/Wissmann wedding, but he also found this one delightful. He extended his warm congratulations to Stephen and Jana, expressing their joy and happiness for the couple.

Absolutely, there’s much cause for joy within the family. To start with, Jeremiah and Hannah are expecting a new addition to their family, which is exciting news given that it has been only 10 months since they became parents to daughter Brielle. Interestingly, Jeremiah and Hannah got engaged shortly after dating for three months. This happy event took place in February.

At that moment, they expressed how much happiness you’ve brought into our lives! Words fall short in expressing the depth of our affection for you, but let me tell you, we are incredibly grateful to have our two precious daughters because of you.

Originally a pair of high school sweethearts, these two eventually became the parents of 19 children and grandparents to more than three dozen little ones.

Michelle shared that she felt saved at the age of 15. One evening, Jim Bob was carrying out evangelistic visits for his Baptist church when he was informed by a friend that a girl from school who had recently been saved and was also a cheerleader resided at the Ruark family’s home.

They extended an invitation to Michelle to attend Sunday school at their church, and Jim Bob mentioned that he had prayed to God for them to serve as each other’s spiritual guides – although it seemed that their initial encounter wasn’t particularly noteworthy for Michelle. Approximately a year later, she applied for a position at the frozen yogurt store owned by Jim Bob’s parents. As Michelle recalled in a letter published on the family blog for Jim Bob’s birthday and their 33rd wedding anniversary in 2017, “You stood behind the counter near the cash register when we first met, and you introduced yourself to me. You were somewhat reserved but very kind! I don’t remember much about that conversation, except that you eventually found the courage to ask me if I would accompany you to your junior-senior banquet!

They had dinner together at Shiloh Christian, but it wasn’t until they spent hours discussing the Bible at her family home later that she felt a strong connection with him. Michelle has shared that this is when their hearts became one. They completed high school in May 1984 and got married in July, making her 17 and Jim Bob 19 years old at the time.

The couple dedicated themselves to God and each other for the long run.

Jim Bob previously held a position as a state legislator, representing Arkansas’s sixth district in the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. During this time, he served as vice chair of the House Corrections and Criminal Law Subcommittee. In 2002, he attempted to secure a seat in the U.S. Senate but was unsuccessful in the primary. Similarly, his campaign for the Republican nomination for Arkansas State Senate District 35 in 2006 also ended in defeat.

They, along with Michelle, who are both real estate agents, have been actively involved in conservative movements – a part of their lifestyle that has earned them both admirers and detractors, including being supporters and critics of the reality TV show “19 Kids and Counting” (which debuted as “17 Kids and Counting” in 2008).

As of October 2024, they were grandparents of 33 with three on the way.

The oldest Duggar offspring, Josh Duggar, entered the world on March 3, 1988. Similarly, he also took up a role as a conservative advocate, advocating on behalf of the Family Research Council.

In 2015, police records from years past emerged, implicating him in accusations of molestation towards multiple girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar, while he was still a teenager. Later that same year, Jessa spoke publicly on Fox News, expressing support for her brother, asserting that the most severe slurs being hurled at Josh were “extremely exaggerated and false, truthfully. People get angry with me for saying this, but I can say it because I was one of the victims.

His wife, Anna Duggar, who tied the knot with him during their September 26, 2008 wedding ceremony showcased on “19 Kids and Counting”, remained loyal to him even following his confession of infidelity.

In 2016, when he entered a rehabilitation facility, his parents referred to it as “an essential initial move towards recovery and healing.

The parents of Mackynzie (born October 8, 2009), Michael (June 15, 2011), and Marcus (June 2, 2013) had a fourth child, Meredith, on July 16, 2015. This was the same day TLC ended their reality show, “19 Kids.” Their fifth child, Mason Garett, came along on September 12, 2017. Next arrived Maryella Hope on November 27, 2019, and their seventh child, Madyson Lily, was born on October 23, 2021.

Back in April 2021, Josh faced multiple charges related to child pornography – one for receiving and another for possessing such material. He pleaded not guilty on both accounts. Later in 2022, he was convicted of both offenses, although the possession charge was later dismissed by the judge. As a result, he was handed a sentence of 12 and a half years behind bars.

Following Josh’s birth, Michelle conceived another child, unfortunately experiencing a miscarriage. As they were still mourning this loss and seeking divine guidance, they discovered that they were expecting twins instead.

She expressed to Love to Know that it felt like a doubly fortunate event for her. God was providing comfort and guidance during this learning process. It’s quite extraordinary because despite breastfeeding my infants, I have a new baby followed by another pregnancy just eight months later. This is yet another example of the unique ways in which the Lord has shaped our circumstances.

John David Duggar and his twin sister Jana Duggar were born on Jan. 12, 1990.

Following a longtime acquaintance (they had known each other for quite some time prior to their meeting at a church gathering in Oklahoma, where Abbie resides) and a swift betrothal, John David and Abbie-Grace Burnett tied the knot on November 3, 2018.

On January 7, 2020, they joyously received their daughter Grace Annette Duggar into the world, and in September 2022, they were overjoyed to welcome their son Charlie Duggar.

On my 30th birthday in January 2020, I penned a heartfelt note to John, saying “As kids, people often asked if we shared some sort of ‘twin intuition’, the sense of knowing what the other is feeling or thinking…For years, I’ve denied it—but now, as I look back on the day our little Gracie was born, I can honestly admit that my heart swelled with the same joy you felt. So maybe, just maybe, there is some truth to this twin thing after all!

Jana went on to say, “It’s just delightful to see you and Abbie being parents! You two are naturals at it! The very traits that make you an exceptional brother will undoubtedly make you a fantastic father too.

Jana observed as 11 out of her 18 siblings tied the knot before herself, eventually falling in love with Stephen Wissmann – whose sister Hannah is wed to Jeremiah, her own brother’s mate. Despite some expressed annoyances, she held firm that it was all part of a divine design.

In August 2024, just before her wedding, Jana shared with People that she hadn’t always grasped the larger scheme of things, but she trusted that God had the best intentions for everyone. Consequently, she decided to get married later in life. She expressed that every person’s tale is unique, and if we were all alike, life would be monotonous.

Born on May 17, 1991, Jill Duggar Dillard had a romantic storyline similar to her parents’. On Christmas Day in 2011, she encountered Derick, who lived approximately 45 minutes away from her, when he dropped by the Duggar residence during his church group’s caroling.

Jim Bob acted as a cupid, pairing Jill and Derick who quickly developed a bond through emails and video calls. The father-daughter duo traveled to Nepal to meet Derick in November, and their relationship deepened from there. By February 2014, Derick proposed to Jill with Jim Bob’s blessing, and they got married on June 21, 2014. They have three sons together—Israel born on April 6, 2015, Samuel born on July 8, 2017, and Frederick born on July 7, 2022.

In the month of April 2024, Jill announced that they had experienced a miscarriage, as they were eagerly awaiting their first daughter with Derick.

In the Amazon Prime Video documentary titled “Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets“, which aired in June 2023, Jill and Derick delved into the contentious matters and religious views tied to Jill’s family, discussing them openly.

Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth child, Jessa Duggar, was born Nov. 4, 1992.

Jessa got acquainted with Ben at church, and he started pursuing her romantically in 2013 – an old-fashioned courtship was quite surprising for many viewers. The couple didn’t discuss their past relationships before getting engaged, so Jim Bob clarified to People, “Courtship involves getting to know each other in a group setting, with both families spending time together and the couple establishing shared objectives to decide if they are suitable for marriage. Dating usually involves two people spending time alone, which can sometimes lead to a more intimate relationship.

Ben proposed to Jessa in August 2014, and they got engaged. Their first shared moment of holding hands marked the beginning of their relationship. They were married on November 1, 2014. At that time, Jessa was already pregnant with their first child. The TV show “19 Kids and Counting” was subsequently canceled by TLC due to a special broadcast about sexual abuse, during which Jill and Jessa shared their insights. This special aimed at educating viewers on the topic. Later that winter, Jessa and Jill became the central figures in their own show, “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” This series eventually expanded to include other Duggar siblings, becoming known as simply “Counting On.

During November 5, 2015, Jessa and Ben had their first son named Spurgeon, followed by son Henry on February 6, 2017, daughter Ivy Jane on May 28, 2019, and daughter Fern in July 2021. Unfortunately, Jessa experienced a miscarriage during the holiday season of 2022. However, she welcomed her fifth child, George, into the world in December 2023.

The sixth Duggar child, Jinger Vuolo, was born Dec. 21, 1993.

Jinger and Jeremy first met while doing community service in Laredo, Texas, and began dating in the year 2016. Their wedding took place on November 5, 2016, which also happened to be the birthday of Jinger’s nephew Spurgeon. As part of a large family with 19 members, it can sometimes be challenging to avoid having significant events overlap, and their union quickly sparked pregnancy speculation.

In a year, we expect to remain right here in Laredo, continuing our ministry work, while striving to serve the Lord in whatever capacity we can. This was shared by Jinger during a June 2017 episode of Counting On.

On July 19, 2018, their beloved daughter Felicity entered the world. It was in May of that same year when they announced that Jinger was expecting another child—unfortunately, she had experienced a miscarriage the previous autumn. Fast forward to November 2020, and they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter Evangeline Jo.

Jinger and Jeremy shared in October 2024 that their third child is due in March 2025.

Born on January 20, 1995, Joseph Duggar found love with Kendra, whom he had come to know through their shared faith at church. He seized the romantic atmosphere at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding in May 2017, only a few months into their courtship, to pop the question.

Joseph shared with People that he was certainly anxious leading up to it, yet he wasn’t fearful of her refusal because she had expressed, “I’m merely waiting for you!” After proposing, Kendra exclaimed, “I’m overjoyed and stunned. There are so many things I want to express, but all I can say is stunned.

Since then, they have added four children to their family: son Garrett, who was born in June 2018, daughter Addison, born in November 2019, another daughter Brooklyn, who joined them in February 2019, and most recently, son Justus, born in May 2023.

Eighth in line, Josiah Duggar was born on Aug. 28, 1996.

A few months following the public revelation of his relationship with Lauren, the pair announced their engagement in March 2018. In a statement, he shared that where he proposed to Lauren was the same location where her parents got engaged. This site holds significant family history, making it a particularly meaningful place for Lauren.

Michelle, her future daughter-in-law, expressed her affection in a family blog video post, saying, “We adore Lauren; she is truly a treasure.” Jessa and Ben added their congratulations, along with chocolate treats in the shape of x’s and o’s. Holding up a sweet treat as a consolation prize, Michelle suggested, “I think you two might want to save your first kiss for your wedding day, but if you visit us here, we’ll give you…

Josiah and Marjorie Jackson had a romance that ended during the summer of 2015. As he shared with People magazine in March 2016, they were attempting to align their steps with God’s guidance. However, Marjorie didn’t believe it was the appropriate moment then, so they took a break from each other for a while.

On June 30, 2018, they officially got married, describing their special day as “completely perfect” to People magazine. Their first child, Bella Milagro, was born on November 8, 2019, a name meaning “miracle baby.” This was after the couple had previously experienced a miscarriage in October 2018. In 2022, they welcomed another daughter named Daisy, and their son, Ezra, joined the family in May 2023.

Ninth sibling Joy-Anna Duggar was born Oct. 28, 1997.

For a span of fifteen years prior, I had the pleasure of calling Austin Forsyth my friend. Once he began pursuing me, our bond deepened swiftly. In February 2017, he made his intentions clear by proposing, and on May 26, 2017, we exchanged vows at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas – the very same venue where Joseph proposed to Kendra!

On February 23, 2018, Joy-Anna and Austin became parents to their firstborn boy, Gideon Martin Forsyth. Exactly two years later, on August 21, 2020, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Evelyn Mae Forsyth. Fast forward to May 17, 2023, and the family expanded once more, with the arrival of their third child, son Gunner James Forsyth.

The twin boys, Jed Duggar and Jeremiah Duggar, were delivered by Jim Bob and Michelle on December 30, 1998.

In February 2017, it became known that Jed was interning at his father’s former workplace, the state capitol, working for the Arkansas House of Representatives. At just 21 years old, he then ran for State Representative in District 89, with a focus on upholding Springdale’s conservative principles. After a year of courting, Jed married Katey Nakatsu in April 2021. Their first child, Truett, was born in May 2022, followed by their daughter, Nora Kate, in June 2023.

Jed and Katey announced in July 2024 that they have twin girls on the way.

Jeremiah, a qualified aviation trainer, is wedded to Hannah Wissmann, and together they have two daughters – Brynley, born in December 2022, and Brielle, who came into the world in February 2024.

No. 12 Jason Duggar was born on April 21, 2000.

Back in January 2017, the Daily Mail stated that Jim Bob assisted Jase in purchasing a $33,000 property in need of repair located in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, approximately 30 minutes from the Duggar family’s main residence. Subsequently, he launched his own construction business.

He went Instagram official with girlfriend Maddie Grace in May 2024 and the two married in October.

Charmed No. 13, James Duggar was born July 7, 2001.

He doesn’t have a public romantic relationship with anyone, but he adores his numerous nieces and nephews as if they were his own children.

On his 19th birthday in 2019, mom Michelle wrote: “James is our ‘fun uncle,’ and all the younger boys here admire him and aspire to be like him.” James has always been capable of accomplishing almost anything he can imagine. As a child, we often found him ‘tinkering’ with various household appliances. He has always had a knack for taking things apart, understanding their inner workings, and putting them back together—with a few unique improvements!

This year, James dedicated himself to earning his Commercial Driver’s License, and now he’s a proficient operator of large trucks and heavy equipment. We’re excitedly looking forward to discovering the divine plans that await him in the time to come!

No. 14 Justin Duggar arrived on Nov. 15, 2002.

And from the department of growing up so fast…

In September 2020, Justin made their relationship with Claire Spivey known to the public. They got engaged a month later in November and tied the knot on February 26, 2021.

In the company of his elder sister Jill, Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifteenth offspring, Jackson Duggar, made his arrival on May 23, 2004.

Turning sixteen was a monumental moment for me, and on that special day, my mom, Michelle, couldn’t help but acknowledge the hilarious side I possess. She also hinted at her understanding of my eagerness, as I simply could not contain my excitement, to get behind the wheel and obtain my driver’s license.

Johanna Duggar was born on October 11, 2005, which inspired the initial television show titled “16 Kids and Starting a New Life“.

In her message for her daughter’s 15th birthday in 2020, Michelle expressed that the girl is full of joy and sociable, always eager to meet new people. She added that her younger sisters idolize her as if she were the moon itself, and Michelle feels incredibly blessed by God for being her mother.

Jennifer Duggar arrived on Aug. 2, 2007, then the baby of the family.

Their TLC show that premiered Sept. 29, 2008, was christened 17 Kids and Counting.

Now, OMG, she’s a teenager.

Michelle expressed, “Jennifer is trustworthy, devoted… and full of fun!” when her granddaughter turned thirteen. The nieces and nephews adore her, often clinging to her because they don’t want her to put them down. Jennifer also cherishes animals deeply and diligently takes care of her pets daily! Notably, she recently assisted in nurturing a brood of seven baby bunnies.

Here on the right, the penultimate Duggar child was born Dec. 18, 2008.

2019 saw Jordyn-Grace being described by her mother as a sociable girl who can easily make friends anywhere, while also noting that her laughter often adds a touch of brilliance to our days.

19th on our list is Josie Duggar, who’s seen cradling her niece Meredith. Josie was born on December 10, 2009, but she arrived three months early and weighed just 1 pound, 6 ounces. Consequently, she spent a total of six months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Michelle penned on her child’s eleventh birthday in 2020, “Josie is like a whirlwind of activity.” From sunrise to bedtime, she seldom takes a break!
