Last week, we celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt post, and I couldn’t help but share some insights on our journey as parents to our two lovely boys, Silas, aged 9, and Phineas, who is 4. It’s not always smooth sailing, but each day brings its own unique ups and downs in our family life.
Reflecting on another year filled with precious memories, I penned a heartfelt caption for my January 31 Instagram post, featuring snapshots of our journey through time as parents. This past year has been a rollercoaster of joy and hurdles, but being a parent alongside you has been an extraordinary adventure. Together, we’ve continued to explore the world with curiosity and creativity, embracing each new challenge as an opportunity to grow.

My partner Justin, understanding my preferences, made sure not to serenade me with the traditional “Happy Birthday” song; instead, he came up with a creative alternative that had me in stitches, although it might have gone unheard by others.
