Jessie J has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

As a devoted cinephile, I’m sharing this news: The artist, slated to take the stage at Capital’s Summertime Ball towards the end of this month, disclosed their health update via an Instagram post.

“Before [new single] No Secrets came out I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,” she said.

During this entire span, I’ve found myself frequently taking various tests. I thought it would be honest of me to let you know. I haven’t had the chance to fully process it all due to my heavy workload.

She expressed: “What saddens me deeply is seeing so many individuals endure hardships, some even more severe. It’s this realization that truly hurts me.

She penned down the caption for her post as follows: “No longer hiding secrets, can I make a remix named ‘Living out loud with my chest’?

Additionally, she has affirmed that she will indeed perform at the Capital Summertime Ball. However, following this event, she plans to take some time off.

“I’m going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery,” she confirmed.
