Jesy Nelson Reveals Shocking Pregnancy Complications with Her Twins!

Jesy Nelson is providing a medical update.

Approximately two months have passed since the former member of Little Mix revealed her twin pregnancy with Zion Foster, and she has now disclosed that she’s enduring a challenging time during this gestation period.

In an Instagram video posted on March 5th, Jesy shared some insights into our recent experiences, saying, “We thought it would be good to keep you updated on part of our adventure. Regrettably, there have been challenges that come hand in hand with expecting identical twins.

She mentioned that her twins are developing in separate amniotic sacs, yet they share one placenta together.

As a devoted admirer, I’m compelled to share my insights. It seems this situation could potentially spiral into numerous challenges. You see, if one baby manages to claim all the essential nutrients, it might unfortunately result in the demise of both infants. Quite a grim scenario, isn’t it?

Because Jesy’s twins share a single placenta, she mentioned they are experiencing a condition called “preliminary twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome” (TTTS). This is a situation where the twins receive disproportionate amounts of blood from the shared placenta.

She mentioned that she’s under constant observation. Right now, she needs to get scanned twice a week. Each time she goes for these scans, her condition seems to be worsening slightly.

She added, “We’re crossing our fingers and keeping our hopes high, while also feeling incredibly grateful for the arrival of twins. However, it’s heartbreaking to encounter unexpected complications along the way.

33-years-old, formerly of the girl group (who parted ways in 2020 with bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock), now wishes to discuss the authentic aspects of her pregnancy experience.

She clarified that they find it crucial to keep everyone updated about their experiences, and to share what transpires along the way. They’re crossing their fingers for the best, and she’s particularly fortunate because she gets scanned every other day, allowing them to monitor the development of the babies closely.

Meanwhile, Jesy and Zion, who started their journey together in 2022, are concentrating on the bright sides while navigating through their pregnancy.

She expressed surprise when she discovered they were expecting twins, Zion and herself included, on her Instagram story in January. The pregnancy wasn’t part of the plan, but as soon as she learned about it, she felt an immediate sense of joy.
