Jennifer Lopez had the best plus one during her latest night out.

On March 23, the singer known for “On The Floor” attended the premiere of the play “Othello,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington, at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City, accompanied by a 17-year-old named Emme.

For the Broadway outing, Jennifer (who has twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony) donned a shimmery black two-piece outfit that showcased her midriff, along with a furry coat. She accessorized the look with stud earrings and a small handbag. At the same time, Emme harmonized with the Grammy nominee by choosing black as well, selecting a pinstripe suit complemented by a gray dress shirt and some silver necklaces.

Jennifer and Emme recently had a unique evening out together, which was nearly a month following Emme and twin brother Max’s 17th birthday celebration. To mark this special event, Jennifer took to Instagram to express her love for her children, affectionately known as “coconuts.

Among the captivating, previously unseen snapshots of their family I shared, I couldn’t help but exclaim my endless affection, “I adore you more than eternity itself!

Now that her children have grown up, Jennifer (who recently divorced Ben Affleck this year) is increasingly incorporating them into her professional life.

The Maid in Manhattan star, however, has learned to use brutal honesty to her advantage.

She mentioned that she frequently finds delight in learning their viewpoints on various topics. “I often ask them for their opinions, saying things like, ‘What’s your take on this?’ or ‘What’s your take on that?’ Their unique perspectives are always captivating, as they belong to a different era.
