Joe Goldberg’s Terrifying Final Season Trailer Will Haunt You Forever!

Joe Goldberg is back and he’s taking one final look at—You.

Netflix unveiled a chilling teaser for the last season of “You,” set to premiere on April 24th. In this short preview, Joe, portrayed by Penn Badgley, embarks on a spine-tingling journey through New York City, revisiting the places where the story began.

Greetings! It’s nice to see you once more. You might wonder if I’ve forgotten, but no, I haven’t – I remember our first encounter quite well. Here we are reunited, returning to where our journey started.

With each chime from the bell atop Mooney’s bookstore, Joe descends the stairs, as scenes from past seasons—alongside recollections of his old adversaries—unfold before him. He muses, “So much has transpired during our long association. Changes in identities, locations, relationships. Complexities.

Finally, when he stops in front of the box that held his victims, Joe has one final warning.

He remarks, “Each of them brought me to this point, right now – the place I was destined for all along. And amidst all the changes, one thing that has remained constant, one thing that’s always been present in my journey is you. You who have stayed by my side throughout and will continue to be there with me until the very end.

In his final words, Joe notes, “Goodbye, You.”

During a conversation with TopMob, Penn openly discussed the extensive effort required for the complex character and revealed how deeply Joe Goldberg is ingrained in his life.

According to Badgley, he doesn’t get any free time with Joe (the character he plays). He has voiceover work and press obligations to attend to. In reality, during the six-month period when he embodies Joe, his life becomes quite restrictive; it feels very cramped.
