It’s an extra special date night for John Mulaney and Olivia Munn.
On February 16th, the former Saturday Night Live writer and Newsroom veteran graced the anniversary special of SNL at New York City’s Rockefeller Center. You can see all the stars who walked the red carpet here.
On the special milestone event, John, the proud father of 3-year-old son Malcolm Mulaney and 5-month-old daughter Méi Mulaney (with Olivia), made a stylish entrance, donning a timeless suit on the red carpet.
Instead, you might not have noticed Olivia, who bypassed the rug, but she was subsequently seen in the audience, near Fred Armisen, during the broadcast.
Notable attendees among the star-studded gathering were friends like Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, and Tom Hanks.
For John and his wife Olivia, this glamorous outing took place three months following John’s sixth appearance as an SNL host in July.
The comedian expressed, during his November performance, that he and his wife have been doing well, as they recently expanded their family by welcoming a beautiful little girl.
The 42-year-old playfully commented, “What a pleasure it is to be among you! I’m used to gazing below, but now it seems my entire life involves seeing things from above.
In that very same month, John provided an insight into his family’s situation, focusing particularly on the challenges faced following Olivia’s breast cancer diagnosis.
He shared with TopMob News that we were in quite an exhilarating and delightful predicament,” he said back then. “Consequently, the past two years have been incredibly eventful and extraordinary, filled with numerous challenges related to Olivia’s cancer, and at times, tense and frightening situations.
Just the other day, John mentioned that, similar to the last few years, we’ve shared countless laughs even amidst all the challenges. Now, I don’t intend to come off as sentimental or overly sweet, but our bond has been strong and we’ve had a great time together through it all.
