John Stamos Jokes Son Billy’s “Traumatic” New Milestone Led to Therapy

John Stamos Jokes Son Billy's "Traumatic" New Milestone Led to Therapy

As a big fan of John Stamos and his acting career, I have always admired him from afar. But ever since he became a father to his beautiful son Billy, my appreciation for him has grown exponentially. Witnessing the joy and love he exudes as a dad is truly heartwarming.

John Stamos is one protective papa bear.

Instead, the former “Full House” star admitted that he was taken aback when his son, Billy, reached a significant new development recently.

Stamos revealed to TopMob News during the season two premiere of Unprisoned in New York City on July 16 that he has undergone a haircut not too long ago and has been dealing with therapy due to this experience. He shared, “I’ve had some anxious moments and it’s been quite an ordeal for me.” (Stay tuned for more exclusive insights from the premiere on TopMob News tonight, July 17 at 11 p.m.)

However, the 60-year-old tried hard to hide his emotions from the 6-year-old.

He gave an Oscar-worthy performance on the spot when he saw him, he mentioned. Yet, I reacted with an enthusiastic approval, saying “That’s fantastic, my boy!” However, his appreciation took me by surprise and left me feeling uneasy.

After bringing Caitlin McHugh, his wife, into his life in April 2018, Stamos confessed, “I find myself tearing up more often. My anxiety levels have increased; I’m constantly concerned.”

As for what Stamos loves most about watching his only child grow up?

I’m deeply moved by his sense of wonder. Watching him discover new things for the first time fills me with joy. His unique perspective on life enriches mine in ways I never thought possible. He is an integral part of who I am, and I can’t imagine my existence without being his devoted parent.

And after six years of marriage, Stamos is equally amazed by Caitlin.

He expressed his admiration for her, adding, “She not only talks the talk but walks the walk. She’s actively engaged in numerous charitable organizations.”

In fact, Billy has already started taking part in his parents’ philanthropic endeavors.

I’m deeply moved by her compassionate actions. When she involves our son in her kindness, as she did at his pirate-themed party, that’s what resonates with me most. We replicated the party for underprivileged children in Orange County. My son gathered his toys and distributed them personally to the kids, bringing joy and excitement to their day.

On tonight, July 17, at 11 p.m., you can see more of me on TopMob News. Don’t miss out! If you’re interested, you can also stream the entire second season of Unprisoned that I’m a part of right now on Hulu.

And keep reading to look back and his cutest family photos with Billy.
