During the final episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK on April 25th, Chris acknowledged speculations about a potential romantic bond between them, following instances where they were seen exchanging a friendly kiss on the cheek, sharing affectionate cuddles within the house, and offering supportive hugs.

However, Chris, 32, clarified that his love for the 21-year-old is platonic.

He explained that they were simply playing around, acting like children, regarding their intimate interactions. To him, JoJo served as a reliable and steadfast companion, someone with whom he could enjoy himself.

To clarify, Chris expressed more about their relationship by saying, “Indeed, from the perspective of friendship, yes, I do genuinely care for her.

He went on to explain, “Why wouldn’t I want to connect with people when I’m in a house? If someone makes me feel as comfortable and joyful as being at home, if they help me forget we’re shooting a TV show and instead enjoy the moment, I will do so – because that’s quite natural. It was merely a friendship, one that’s destined to grow even stronger.

In the course of that episode, JoJo opened up about the strength of her friendship with her fellow competitor, following some speculation about their unusually close bond.
