JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: New Photo of Hirohiko Araki Proves the Creator Never Ages

As a seasoned gamer who has witnessed the evolution of anime from its humble beginnings to the behemoth it is today, I can confidently say that Hirohiko Araki is not just an artist or a mangaka; he’s a living legend. Having grown up with the Joestars and their bizarre adventures since the days of Phantom Blood, I can attest to the fact that this series has become a part of my very being.

The manga “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” initially introduced characters like Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando to the world in 1987 with the storyline “Phantom Blood.” Since then, the heroes and villains born from Hirohiko Araki’s imagination have become staples of the anime genre. As of now, the series continues to thrive without any signs of slowing down. The latest story arc, “The JOJOLands,” introduces two new Joestars, Jodio and Dragona. Previously, Araki expressed his desire to keep working on “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” indefinitely, leading many fans to speculate that this might indeed be the case based on a recent image of him.

The latest anime adaptation of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” produced by Studio David Production, initially premiered in 2012. Throughout the television series, David Production has been weaving the Joestar family’s tale, which includes stories such as “Phantom Blood,” “Battle Tendency,” “Stardust Crusaders,” “Diamond Is Unbreakable,” “Golden Wind,” and “Stone Ocean.” At this point in time, David Production has not yet revealed when the series will resume. If the anime adaptation continues to adhere to the source material, it’s likely that the next season will be “Steel Ball Run.” Given the current gap between JoJo seasons, fans are eagerly awaiting any updates to ensure they don’t have to wait too much longer.

Is Hirohiko Araki a Vampire?

It’s surprising to think that the creator of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, Hirohiko Araki, is sixty-four years old, given how the photo below may suggest otherwise. Despite not explicitly expressing his intention to conclude the anime series, Araki has left many fans speculating about how many more story arcs we might see before the Joestars bid their farewell. With popular series like “My Hero Academia”, “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and “One Piece” coming to an end, it’s possible that “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” could continue for quite some time yet, outliving several other manga before it concludes.

The unique aspect of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” is that it could theoretically go on indefinitely, as each new storyline focuses on a different member of the Joestar family. Even when “The JOJOLands” finally concludes, the series can carry on. Given Hirohiko Araki’s seeming resistance to aging, he might keep creating manga for many more years to come.
