JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Takes Over Shonen Jump With New Cover

As a seasoned gamer who has traversed the bizarre landscapes of countless RPGs, I must say that diving into the world of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: The JOJOLands is like stepping into a new tabletop adventure board game. The intricate character designs, the quirky Stand abilities, and the larger-than-life battles are all elements that draw me in, reminding me of the countless hours I spent crafting my own characters and storylines.

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the latest storyline in the ever-popular JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise – The JOJOLands. In this chapter, we follow two new protagonists, Jodio and Dragona Joestar, who are on a mission to pull off the next big heist. Their goal? To secure their mother’s financial future. With an impressive seventeen chapters under its belt so far, creator Hirohiko Araki is diving deep into the lives of these new Joestar siblings. And guess what? The JOJOLands will once again steal the spotlight in an upcoming issue of Ultra Jump, one of Shueisha’s most influential publications in Japan. I can hardly wait to see where this adventure takes us next!

Although Netflix has concluded Jolyne Cujoh’s tale in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean,” David Production has not yet announced a return date for the anime adaptation. Fans eager to witness The JOJOLands on television might experience some letdown, as it seems more probable that we’ll see the continuation of Steel Ball Run and JoJolion before Jodio and Dragona make their appearance in the series. Fortunately, these storylines are highly regarded within the anime franchise, making the wait potentially worthwhile for enthusiasts.

The JOJOLands Hits Ultra Jump

In the forthcoming issue of Ultra Jump magazine, Dragona and Jodio team up not only with each other, but also with their accomplices who assisted them in pulling off their recent major heist. However, these characters found themselves in a difficult situation when they attempted to steal a diamond from Rohan Kishibe, the renowned manga artist known for Diamond Is Unbreakable. Despite their efforts, Jodio and his crew managed to negotiate with Rohan, but it was no simple task to combat the user of Heaven’s Door.

In the next issue 9/2024 of Ultra Jump, Hirohiko Araki’s “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 9 – The JOJOLands” will grace the cover. This installment is the ninth part of the extended battle series and takes place in the criminal underbelly of Hawaii, focusing on the tale of a rebellious teenager named Jodio Joestar.

Instead of merely adding new Joestars, JOJOLands has brought in some extraordinary Stands to the ongoing series. Jodio wields a peculiar Stand called November Rain, capable of executing unpredictable attacks through its proficiency with projectiles. Conversely, Dragona, Jodio’s brother, utilizes a Stand named “Smooth Operators”, which enables manipulation of objects due to the minute creatures it is connected to in the Joestar lineage.
