Beyond Colin’s assertions concerning his childhood, he also stated that he was dismissed from the Marines in 2016 due to being committed to an institution by his mother.
He shared with Entertainment Tonight in August that he was nearly finished with his training and about to graduate. Upon investigation of the necessary paperwork, it was discovered that he had indeed spent time in an institution during his lifetime. They didn’t require a more detailed explanation for this fact.
In regards to the accusations against Collin, I, as a dedicated follower, have observed that Kate herself has chosen not to make any public comments. Her attorney, Richard Puelo, has shared with Fox News that due to the risk of misinterpretation, she prefers not to comment on such matters.
He continued, “What’s been shared doesn’t align with the actual truth.” She chose not to respond since it wouldn’t alter the past events. Regarding her actions towards her kids, I don’t think she deliberately caused them harm in any manner, physical or otherwise.
From 1999 until 2009, Jon and Kate were husband and wife. During that time, they featured their life with their eight children on the TLC reality show. After their separation, the series was renamed Kate Plus 8.
As for Kate, she hasn’t made any public comments regarding Collin’s accusations. Her lawyer, Richard Puelo, explained to Fox News that the writer of “I Just Want You to Know” prefers not to comment because she is aware that her words can often be misunderstood or taken out of context.
He further stated, “The evidence contradicts the reality,” and followed up by saying, “She remains silent as it won’t alter the past. I firmly believe that she did not deliberately harm any of her children in any manner or degree.

In the year 2024, on Mother’s Day, as the sextuplets, who are now 20 years old and were once part of a former relationship, turned two decades old, Kate posted a heartfelt tribute to the four who reside with her: Alexis, Aaden, Joel, and Leah.
She posted on Instagram: “No young adults here anymore! Happy 20th birthday, my eternal little ones! I adore you!” followed by “#20yearsold #ImFeelingOld #Pickle” (using a nickname for her children)
Hannah shared new pics of herself on her and the other sextuplet’s 20th birthday May 10.
On to the next chapter! The sextuplet graduated from high school in 2023.
Jon posted a picture on social media showcasing Collin and Hannah, the sextuplets, as they graduated from high school in 2023, quite some time after they had moved into his house previously.

2019 saw Kate expressing her awe and gratitude as she reflected on the grand #15 celebration winding up. The festivities started early, with a present at 6:30 am before school! She couldn’t help but marvel at her children, finding it hard to believe they were already fifteen. Each day, she continued to be amazed by their growth, and was incredibly proud of the wonderful qualities that were blossoming as they approached adulthood.

In a post shared in 2018, Kate expressed her surprise when her daughters, who she refers to as “my little girls,” reminded her that they are just 12 days away from turning 14. One of them said, “Mom, it’s only 12 days until we turn 14!” She couldn’t believe it, and asked how this was possible. Leah then replied, “Well, you know I’m small, maybe I’m not really turning 14.” Kate assured her that she is indeed turning 14, as she is the one who gave birth to her. Rewind to 2014 when Kate and her children found themselves visiting Alaska.
In addition, Kate took her identical daughters, Cara Gosselin and Mady Gosselin, on a visit to New York City back in 2014, which included a stay at the Manhattan Hotel.
