In the ongoing success of her latest film “Sinners,” co-starring Michael B. Jordan, the actress from “Pitch Perfect” is garnering attention. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback couldn’t help but express admiration for his girlfriend.

Speaking to reporters on April 23 during the Bills’ Organized Team Activities, Josh expressed his excitement and pride for her by saying, “I can’t wait for you all to see this movie because it’s just amazing, and I think it deserves a watch!

Following his recommendation for people to watch the latest film directed by Ryan Coogler, the NFL’s Most Valuable Player expressed his contentment in stepping aside and allowing her to shine, as her movie premiered in cinemas on April 18th.

Josh, 28, stated, “I was simply there to help her in any capacity possible. It was her time to shine, and I couldn’t be happier that she did.

Even though they generally maintained a low-key approach to their relationship prior to announcing their engagement in November 2024, the duo has been openly expressing their affection for each other since then.

In December, he gushed to the Associated Press that “she’s just the best.”

“The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan,” he said, “my biggest supporter.”

And two months later, he shared his gratitude for Hailee’s support once again.

At the conclusion of his MVP award acceptance speech during the 2025 NFL Honors event in February, Josh expressed, “To my beloved Hailee, you’ve been my stronghold and dearest companion. I wouldn’t be here on this stage today without your support.

In a heartwarming response, the actress who played the lead in “The Edge of Seventeen” echoed her feelings, expressing positive thoughts about Josh, as she made a triumphant return to the limelight, taking on her first significant acting role in quite some time.

Hailee shared with TopMob News at the Sinners’ New York premiere on April 3, “Everything he does means a lot to me.” She added, “I’m incredibly proud of him and feel that way every day. It’s not just during the season, I’m simply grateful to be able to experience this journey with him too.

Two months later, the duo confirmed their relationship while kissing on vacation in Mexico.

17-year-old “The Edge of Seventeen” actress and professional footballer were spotted enjoying a romantic outing, both dressed in coordinating khaki ensembles, during the Paris Fashion Week.

The well-known NFL player confirmed their relationship on Instagram by sharing a picture of them both standing in front of the Eiffel Tower, which was part of a collection of photos he posted on July 23.

Posted in that same photo dump, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

On her “Up & Adams” show, Mr. Hard Launch, as Kay Adams affectionately referred to him, humbly confessed his affection for Hailee when inquired about their relationship, saying they have a strong fondness for each other.

Hailee and Josh publicly announced their engagement on November 29, through an Instagram post that depicted the athlete proposing to Hailee, who leaned in for a kiss. The caption of the post contained their significant date: November 22, 24.

 

Not too long after our recent engagement, Hailee and I graced the red carpet for the first time at the NFL Honors event, with me being recognized as the MVP. In my acceptance speech, I couldn’t help but express a sincere tribute to her in front of everyone present.
