Having watched him bring Cable, Thanos, and even Jonah Hex to life, I can’t help but feel that he would do justice to the Green Lantern Corps’ most iconic member.

According to recent reports, Brolin has been offered the role of Hal Jordan in the upcoming series “Lanterns.”

Can’t See It
I have a strong fondness for Josh Brolin, and he truly shone as Thanos, but regrettably, I can’t envision him as Hal Jordan. Given his usual serious acting style, it seems a bit odd to cast him as the more light-hearted Hal Jordan. Even though an older Hal Jordan might work, the idea of a 56-year-old Hal in the DCU just doesn’t sit right with me. There are certainly other actors who would be better suited for the role of Hal Jordan. #Lanterns #HalJordan
