Josh Hartnett’s Rare Social Media Comeback for New Film ‘Fight or Flight’

Josh Hartnett isn’t falling into the social media trap.

However, he did recently make a brief appearance on Instagram—although it wasn’t his decision.

In the video posted by his official account for the movie “Fight or Flight”, only half of Josh’s face is shown, accompanied by a popular clicking sound as he pretends to type on a phone. The post, dated April 23rd, includes the caption, “I promote my film before disappearing from social media for another decade.

Additionally to the video, the actor from “Trap” elaborated on his brief social media presence. He stated, “When your team schedules a day for social media content to advertise your upcoming film, ‘Fight or Flight’ (releasing May 9), but you don’t catch onto any of these popular trends.

Nevertheless, fans expressing enthusiasm about Josh’s uncommon social media presence, showed signs of wanting him not to wait another decade. One supporter even stated, “also eager for the Hartnettaissance,” while another exclaimed, “JOSH, don’t leave us! We need you. The Hartnettaissance isn’t finished!

46-year-old Josh isn’t shy about experimenting with popular fads as part of marketing his newest action movie.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can confidently say that I’ve recently discovered some intriguing insights into filmmaking. The actor portraying Oppenheimer found himself in a viral video, where he endorsed the idea of shooting films on an airplane. In another humorous instance, Josh enthusiastically jumped on board the popular “hell yeah” trend, captioning a clip with, “Fancy making an action movie? On an aircraft? And maybe even dye my locks blonde?

Although Josh appears comfortable with social media, it’s likely he’s serious when discussing privacy matters. The actor, famous for his role in Pearl Harbor, has shared that he chose to retreat from Hollywood following his success in the early 2000s, opting instead to lead a tranquil life in England alongside his wife Tamsin Egerton and their four children.

Yet, this doesn’t imply that Josh hasn’t been enjoying or expressing appreciation for the affection he’s received as he’s steadily returned to Hollywood over the past few years.

I’m truly delighted to see so many people taking notice of my work,” I shared with TopMob News last July. “You see, we don’t create films just for ourselves; they’re meant for the audience. While pushing myself to new limits is rewarding, it’s equally important that the audience joins me on this journey. So, it’s incredibly gratifying to know that people are appreciating my current efforts.
