Jujutsu Kaisen Epilogue Teases the Downfall of Its Top Clans

As a die-hard fan who’s been following Jujutsu Kaisen since its early days, I can confidently say that the latest chapters have been nothing short of mind-blowing! The way the story is wrapping up, tying all loose ends and setting the stage for a grand finale, it’s like watching a masterful symphony coming to an end.

In recent installments, Jujutsu Kaisen has been tidying up remaining plot points ahead of its conclusion this month, hinting at the impending collapse of the leading families within the Jujutsu society. The enigma surrounding the Jujutsu Sorcery world in Jujutsu Kaisen remains one of the most intriguing aspects of the series as a whole. With the battle against Sukuna now concluded, it’s time for Yuji Itadori and the remaining combatants to find some semblance of normalcy while they recuperate from the chaos caused by such an earth-shattering encounter.

As a devoted follower, I can’t help but feel the ripples in the magical realm of Jujutsu Kaisen, a world that’s been significantly altered by the enigmatic Sukuna. Yet, the transformations didn’t begin with him; they were set in motion long before, during the tumultuous Shibuya Incident and the Culling Game. Now, as this magical world quakes beneath our feet, it’s not just the established powers that are feeling the tremors.

What Happens in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269?

In Chapter 269 of Jujutsu Kaisen, the narrative unfolds post-clash with Sukuna. The surviving Jujutsu practitioners are piecing together their recollections of the battle, each one expressing self-blame for their level of participation or lack thereof in the fight. Despite these feelings of guilt, they’re grateful to have survived. It’s revealed that more sorcerers might have lived had it not been for a particular clan concealing the New Shadow Style and Simple Domain techniques. They had sworn an oath to keep these skills secret, which meant no other sorcerers outside their group could learn them.

Amidst the pandemonium surrounding Sukuna, I was secretly executing a plan. While everyone else was engaged in battle, I traced and eliminated the leader of the enigmatic New Shadow Style clan. By doing so, I paved the way for Kusakabe to ascend as their new leader, which would subsequently annul the Binding Vow – a move that would later benefit me financially. However, my primary motive was not just this. This family, in its conniving wisdom, sought to instigate chaos among the three major families, and I was the means to achieve it.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Who Are the Three Big Families?

As a gamer diving into the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, I’ve learned that the Zenin, Gojo, and Kamo clans were once the ruling families in the Jujutsu world. After Maki’s actions during the Shibuya Incident, only the Gojo and Kamo clans remain. The hint in Chapter 269 suggests that this power shift might lead to their downfall, making way for a full power vacuum. With Gojo’s potential demise, it seems like a New Shadow Style clan is seizing this opportunity to rise and claim dominance over the Jujutsu world.

But as we’ve also seen with Gojo eliminating the higher ups before his fight with Sukuna, it doesn’t really matter who sits at the top of Jujutsu society. It’s something that hasn’t really been fleshed out in a significant way through the course of the series, and will likely not play any crucial role now that there are only two chapters left. These clans falling will just be another way that the old gives way to the new in this new era of sorcery. Which means a brighter future for everyone who has survived through it all.
