Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Makes Gojo’s Dream a Reality

Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Makes Gojo's Dream a Reality

As a die-hard Jujutsu Kaisen fan who’s been following this series since its inception, I must say that the finale was a bittersweet rollercoaster ride. The death of Satoru Gojo was a hard pill to swallow, but his dream for a better future seems to have come true through the surviving students. It’s as if Gojo’s spirit is still guiding them from beyond the grave, like a benevolent ghost of Jujutsu Tech!

Jujutsu Kaisen has concluded, leaving a wealth of content to explore regarding its final episode. In the last installment, Satoru Gojo was not resurrected after his demise at Sukuna’s hands, but there is a glimmer of hope for the late Jujutsu Tech instructor. By delving into the history of this supernatural shonen series, observant readers found a glimpse of Gojo’s past dreams and, although he no longer exists in our world, it seems that his aspirations for the future have been fulfilled. Given that Yuji Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara survived their battle against the Cursed King, this ending is as optimistic as shonen fans could hope for.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my thoughts on the climactic Chapter 271 of Jujutsu Kaisen. In this chapter, Nobara, Megumi, and Yuji find themselves unexpectedly engaged in a relatively tranquil skirmish against a user of cursed energy. Upon encountering our antagonist, a minor menace, he surprisingly surrenders without any resistance whatsoever.

Satoru Gojo’s Dream

Previously in the popular shonen series, Satoru Gojo expressed his vision. In the highlighted statement, Gojo yearned for a transformed world, even though he may not live to witness it. However, a promising future is on the horizon for his disciples as they carry on his dream: “I have a vision. I’m determined to reform this flawed Jujutsu realm. I require powerful and astute companions. I need to cultivate them.

Is There A Shadow Over Gojo’s Dream?

Similar to how Hajime Isayama hasn’t explicitly suggested a sequel for “Attack on Titan”, Gege Akutami has not indicated a follow-up series for “Jujutsu Kaisen” at this time. However, the final chapter of Jujutsu Tech concludes with an unsettling disclosure that one of Sukuna’s fingers managed to endure, left in a location strikingly similar to the early chapters. Although Sukuna appears to be deceased, there’s a possibility that a new curse ruler might arise. Yet, it seems like these captivating narratives may remain confined within the realm of anime enthusiasts’ imaginations.

Many viewers have found the ending quite contentious, particularly regarding Satoru Gojo. There’s been a strong hope among fans that Gojo might be brought back to life, but it seems that Satoru’s vision could be his lasting impact as an extraordinarily powerful character. Regardless of whether Gojo reappears, his influence in the anime world is expected to endure for years due to his immense popularity, even beyond his death, a testament to Gege Akutami’s exceptional character creation.
