Jujutsu Kaisen Game Shares Heartwarming New Year’s Promo

As someone who has been immersed in the captivating world of Jujutsu Kaisen since its inception, I can confidently say that the recent New Year’s promo from Phantom Parade has left me absolutely enchanted! The scene of Gojo, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and the rest at the shrine is a beautiful testament to the bond between teacher and students, a bond that resonates deeply with my own experiences.

The year 2024 was undeniably monumental for Jujutsu Kaisen, with the manga concluding, Season 2 of the anime breaking records left and right, and the manga surpassing an astounding 100 million copies in circulation! I eagerly awaited the release of Volumes 29 and 30 on Christmas, and the epilogue focusing on Nobara, Yuko, Panda, and Uraume was a delightful surprise.

Now, as we stand on the precipice of 2025, I find myself filled with anticipation for the third season of the anime, which will adapt the Itadori Extermination, Perfect Preparation, and the Culling Game Arcs. My fellow fans and I are eagerly waiting, our hearts pounding with excitement!

Lastly, let me share a little joke to lighten the mood: Seems like Gojo’s New Year’s gift to his students was 3000 Cubes… I guess that means we’re all getting cursed now! But hey, who needs a curse when you have Jujutsu Kaisen, right? 😄

In the New Year’s special promo for Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo are shown. They visit a shrine together, with Gojo smiling at his students who are praying for the upcoming year. This is a traditional Japanese practice, where people visit shrines to seek good fortune, prosperity, and a fresh start in the new year, often accompanied by friends or family. The fact that Gojo takes them out on New Year’s suggests the strong bond he shares with his students. Although this illustration isn’t part of the main storyline, fans appreciate it nonetheless.

2024 marked a record-breaking year for the popular series “Jujutsu Kaisen,” with the manga concluding and the second season of its anime adaptation. The season 2 premiere broke numerous records and garnered multiple awards at the Crunchyroll Awards. Furthermore, it was announced that over 100 million copies of the manga were in circulation. On Christmas, volumes 29 and 30 were released, featuring additional illustrations. The final volume included a 16-page epilogue focusing on Nobara, Yuko, Panda, and Uraume. Although no plans for “Jujutsu Kaisen” have been announced for 2025, fans are already excited about the upcoming third season of the anime, which will adapt the Itadori Extermination, Perfect Preparation, and Culling Game Arcs.

Greetings and Happy New Year!

I’m delighted to share our New Year illustration with you.

What is the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade Game?

As an observer, I’ve been following the exciting world of Jujutsu Kaisen and recently had the pleasure of experiencing its first officially licensed mobile game, Phantom Parade. Developed by Sumzap, this free-to-play role-playing title is available on Android and iOS devices. Initially launched in Japan on November 21st, 2023, it took a year for the game to be localized and made accessible to various countries and languages. On November 7th, 2024, it finally opened its doors to a global audience like myself.

Phantom Parade mirrors the original storyline faithfully, complete with full-voiced scenes and battles that let players unleash their Cursed Techniques. It’s been a thrilling journey so far, immersing myself in the captivating world of Jujutsu Kaisen through this unique gaming experience.

Beyond the central plot, the game features unique characters hailing from the Fukuoka branch of Tokyo Jujutsu High, including freshmen Saki and Kaito, as well as the principal Kensuke. This expansion gives players fresh viewpoints and tasks within the realm of Jujutsu Kaisen. Phantom Parade frequently unveils new anime-style illustrations for promotional purposes or to mark special occasions. These works contribute to a lively atmosphere and inspire players to sign in or engage with time-limited content. The official game account recently shared an illustration, announcing that players will receive 3000 Cubes as a New Year gift.
