Jujutsu Kaisen Highlights Yuji and Sukuna With Its Final Manga Covers

As a gamer with over two decades of manga and anime under my belt, I must say that the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen was a bittersweet moment for me. On one hand, it was satisfying to see our protagonists, Yuji and Sukuna, finally bring the epic battle to an end after countless hours of reading and anticipation. However, on the other hand, the abruptness of the ending left me yearning for more.

The popular manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” by Gege Akutami concluded its run in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine this Fall, leaving fans in awe following the climactic battle against Sukuna. The final two volumes of the series feature Yuji and Sukuna as the main characters one last time. Throughout the Shinjuku Showdown arc, after numerous casualties and substantial losses, Yuji ultimately brought an end to the long-standing fight against Sukuna.

Following the conclusion of the manga run for “Jujutsu Kaisen”, the last two volumes of this popular series will start appearing in Japan from December 25th of this year. The final installments, Volumes 29 and 30, compile the remaining chapters and shine a light on the main characters at the heart of the story. Volume 29 centers around Sukuna, who played a crucial role in the Shinjuku Showdown’s events, while Volume 30 brings Yuji back into focus, wrapping up the series nicely after many years since its beginning. Below, you can find the cover art for “Jujutsu Kaisen” Volumes 29 and 30, as revealed by Shueisha.

Does Jujutsu Kaisen Have a Good Ending?

The anime series Jujutsu Kaisen concluded its broadcast this past Fall, leaving viewers yearning for something else after the conclusion. Despite the extensive battle against Sukuna that encompassed an entire arc, it seemed as though there were still untold chapters in the story before the final curtain fell. Numerous characters met their end throughout the series, and new ones emerged to fill the void created by these losses.

By the time the series concluded, it appeared as though there were numerous unresolved plot points left hanging, which the creator, Gege Akutami, didn’t seem keen to delve into deeply. There was a hint of something grander perhaps on the way, but it ultimately turned out to be connected to Sukuna’s menace. This made Sukuna seem like the main antagonist from the start, yet it felt unusual that he indeed became the final villain without any significant deviations along the way.

Jujutsu Kaisen Still Isn’t Over Yet

The storyline in the “Jujutsu Kaisen” manga may have concluded, but the franchise isn’t done yet. Exciting news for fans is that an anime adaptation is back on track for a comeback with its third season, though specific release dates are still undisclosed. What we do know about the upcoming third season is that it will cover the Culling Game arc from the original manga, which promises more action-packed battles with plenty of fresh characters to face off against.

As the climactic parts of “Jujutsu Kaisen” unfold, they’re filled with numerous battles that rhythmically build and relax, leading up to its conclusion. This suggests that the anime will be at its peak performance before it finally wraps up too. With the anime’s future set, enthusiasts of the manga can revisit their favorite scenes through Shueisha’s MangaPlus platform or Viz Media’s digital Shonen Jump archive to reacquaint themselves with how the story of “Jujutsu Kaisen” ultimately unfolded for its characters.
