What to Expect From the Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc Movie?
The movie will collect and enhance the initial five episodes of the anime’s second season, focusing on the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” arc from Gojo’s past. This arc, known as such in the anime, takes us back 12 years to when the strongest duo was in high school. Their friendship and eventual separation were hinted at in the prequel film “Jujutsu Kaisen 0,” released in 2021. However, this arc reveals their heartbreaking story right before the Shibuya Incident Arc. This arc is highly appreciated by the fanbase, as it centers around Gojo’s life.
Two gifted young sorcerers have been assigned to safeguard a girl named Riko Amanai from dangerous bounty hunters. This unique child, born five centuries ago, carries a substantial bounty due to her extraordinary status as the Star Plasma Vessel. Her destiny involves merging with Master Tengen, whose immortality relies on this young girl’s sacrifice. Master Tengen has survived for countless centuries and manages the protective barriers of Jujutsu High. However, some religious groups that venerate Tengen fear that this union will taint the immortal sorcerer, leading them to take extreme measures to eliminate Riko.
As I eagerly follow the mission with Gojo and Geto at the helm, I can’t help but feel my hopes soaring as the odds of finding Master Tengen grow brighter. Yet, a troubling tension hangs heavy between these two powerful allies – torn between safeguarding the young girl and stealing her future, unbeknownst to them. In the shadows, a notorious Sorcerer Killer lurks, his sights set on our prize, watching our every move with calculated precision. He plots meticulously from afar, biding his time for the opportune moment to strike. The climax of this thrilling arc sheds light on the tragic reasons behind Gojo and Geto’s separation and the path that led them to become adversaries.
