Jujutsu Kaisen Kicks Off Epilogue With Megumi’s Return

Jujutsu Kaisen Kicks Off Epilogue With Megumi's Return

As a seasoned gamer and a dedicated fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I must say that Chapter 268 has left me both emotional and exhilarated. The return of Megumi Fushiguro after such a harrowing ordeal is truly heartwarming, and it’s a testament to the resilience of our favorite characters.

The popular manga series, “Jujutsu Kaisen,” is moving a step nearer to its conclusion, as the latest chapter commences Megumi Fushiguro’s return. This week, it was announced in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that Gege Akutami’s original manga series would be wrapping up later this month, indicating that the final chapters of the story are now winding down towards the climax. The protagonist, Yuji Itadori, and his companions have been battling Sukuna throughout the Shinjuku Showdown arc, and that battle has finally drawn to a close.

In the latest installment of Jujutsu Kaisen, I’ve witnessed a thrilling turn of events that saw Yuji scoring a significant win against Sukuna, with Nobara Kugisaki lending unexpected assistance in this battle. Interestingly enough, she’s not the only character who has reappeared; Megumi has made a triumphant return to the series as well! The combined efforts of Yuji and Nobara managed to free Megumi from Sukuna’s curse, ultimately leading to the conclusion of this fierce conflict.

Jujutsu Kaisen 268: Megumi Returns at Last

In Chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen, I find myself right where Nobara activated Resonance on Sukuna. It’s Megumi and Sukuna squaring off one last time, deep within Megumi’s own body. Sukuna ponders how Megumi can carry on after experiencing such hardships – his body invaded, his sister murdered, refusing aid before, and Yuji causing massive casualties. But despite the fact that Megumi’s life will never be the same as it once was, there’s a glimmer of hope in him knowing that Sukuna appears equally desperate and possibly unable to escape this predicament. However, what touches me most is Megumi’s acceptance of his altered existence, finding comfort in the possibility that even Sukuna might not be able to return from this encounter.

Following their separation caused by Sukuna, and the lifting of the curse, Megumi is now embracing life alongside his companions once more. Upon reconnecting with Yuji and Nobara, he discovers a message penned by Satoru Gojo, admitting to having murdered Megumi’s father, Toji. Despite this revelation, Megumi can only chuckle. This fresh piece of information adds yet another layer to the profound transformation his life has undergone due to these events, and it provides one more motivation for Megumi to live selflessly. Given the tumultuous journey depicted in the series up until now, it appears that the epilogue may offer Megumi some respite, a moment of calm before the story concludes.
