As a longtime gamer and avid manga reader with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must confess that Jujutsu Kaisen‘s upcoming conclusion has left me with a heavy heart. The series has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I can’t help but feel that Satoru Gojo’s safe return is the cherry on top that this story deserves.

View Urgent ForecastIn a few weeks, we’ll see the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen, and fans can expect only one thing for certain – that Satoru Gojo will make it through unscathed until the series finishes. The announcement left everyone stunned when they learned Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine would be wrapping up this month, as fans eagerly anticipated the fight against Sukuna to be the final battle in the entire series. With only three more chapters remaining, there are still numerous loose ends that require resolution before the story comes to a close.
The anime Jujutsu Kaisen has concluded the battle against Sukuna. Now, Juji Itadori and the remaining sorcerers are readying themselves for what’s next. Throughout this fight, many deaths have occurred, but there’s one character whose demise seems to hold a glimmer of hope for resurrection. Given that characters have returned from seemingly impossible situations before, and considering his immense power, it feels as though Satoru Gojo might yet be alive by the time the series comes to an end.
Is Gojo Truly Dead?
The primary concern amongst fans about Gojo’s fate remains unresolved, as they find it difficult to accept his apparent demise as the series concludes. Although other characters have perished during the fierce encounters with Sukuna and other curses, their deaths were swiftly acknowledged. Nevertheless, Gojo’s death seems equally challenging to accept, given his significant role in the storyline and the deep-rooted affection he enjoys within the fanbase. It feels almost unbelievable that such a pivotal character has fallen in battle.
I can’t help but feel a sense of awe and longing as I watch this story unfold. Yuji and the gang are marching towards a joyous conclusion, and it feels almost too good to be true after all they’ve been through. The return of Nobara Kugisaki at the critical moment to strike the final blow against Sukuna was like a miracle, and if Satoru Gojo were to make an appearance before the curtain falls, that would be equally miraculous.
Does Gojo Come Back to Life?
Could Gojo realistically be brought back from the dead at this current stage? It appears that there might be a solution, but it’s a rather grim one. Gojo was not only completely vanquished by Sukuna and divided in two, which seemingly led to his spirit departing when he was “reunited” with Suguru Geto in the afterlife. Matters became more complicated when Yuta Okkotsu utilized Rika’s powers to inhabit Gojo’s body, effectively turning it into some sort of mechanical puppet. This manipulation of Gojo’s body made him seem even more deceased than fans had anticipated, and this was the closest he came to being revived (showing a lack of respect for his corpse in the process).
Much like Kenjaku and Yuta managed to move their minds into new bodies, it’s regrettably plausible that Gojo could do the same if he’s been preserved. This method might bring him back among Yuji and the others, offering a thrilling visual spectacle. However, another fitting option for Gojo’s return would be to let him rest in peace. If he were to make one final appearance at the end of the series, it would provide closure. It wouldn’t even require him to be alive for this farewell; just a brief reappearance would suffice.
