The anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Solo Leveling” have gained massive popularity due to their impressive fight scenes. Within “Jujutsu Kaisen,” Mahoraga is a near-invincible shikigami, representing the pinnacle of Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows technique, while Jinwoo is the main character in “Solo Leveling” and currently the strongest S-ranked hunter. The question then arises: who would win if these two formidable characters faced off? Both possess extraordinary abilities and have demonstrated incredible strength within their respective shows. Recently, Jinwoo defeated a unique beast named Beru, outshining all other S-ranked hunters involved in the fight. Conversely, Mahoraga held his own against Sukuna, the King of Curses, in one of the most impressive battles seen in “Jujutsu Kaisen.”
In easier terms: In the shows “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Solo Leveling,” there are two powerful characters: Mahoraga from “Jujutsu Kaisen” and Jinwoo from “Solo Leveling.” Both can fight really well. Lately, Jinwoo beat a special monster named Beru that no other S-ranked hunter could handle. However, in “Jujutsu Kaisen,” Mahoraga fought against Sukuna, one of the strongest enemies, and they were evenly matched. So if these two characters had to fight each other, it would be a tough match because they are both very strong and adaptable.
In simpler terms, both characters possess a wide range of adaptable skills that keep evolving, making it nearly indistinguishable who has more power. Mahoraga is almost invincible and can only be defeated by a powerful strike capable of eliminating the creature. Conversely, Jinwoo showcases his speed and adaptability, having recently acquired an enhanced slashing ability. Ultimately, this hypothetical fight would center on whether or not Jinwoo could deliver the decisive blow before Mahoraga adapts to all of Jinwoo’s most lethal techniques.
Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga Would Be a Great Opponent for Jinwoo
In the Zenin clan’s 10 Shadows Technique, Mahoraga stands out as the premier shikigami, embodying the peak of Jujutsu Sorcery. This powerful creature is summoned using an eight-handled wheel and wields the Sword of Extermination on its right arm. Notably, this sword is a unique cursed artifact specifically designed for shikigami, serving as an exceptional weapon for eradicating curses. The blade is coated in reversed cursed energy, making it capable of cutting through and eliminating beings composed of such energy.
The eight-handled wheel suspended above Mahoraga’s head rotates dynamically as the shikigami adapts to various inputs. This tool plays a crucial role in Mahoraga’s adaptability, granting it the ability to become resistant and formulate attacks that precisely target and defeat any opponent. Moreover, Mahoraga is an imposing figure, displaying strength that allows it to engage in hand-to-hand combat with some of the strongest characters within Jujutsu Kaisen.
Analyzing Mahoraga’s combats reveals that the Divine General swiftly adapts to his opponents’ abilities. Upon encountering an ability, he usually responds with a countermeasure almost instantly. For instance, Mahoraga was capable of perceiving Sukuna’s invisible slashes from Cleave and Dismantle. Not only could he detect the slashes after being struck once, but he also started showing signs of resistance to them. After achieving a certain level of adaptation, he even began healing from the earlier damage.
During his fight with Gojo, Mahoraga took a significantly longer time adapting to Infinity. However, it became clear that Mahoraga was continually adapting. Initially, he managed to nullify Infinity upon physical contact. Then, he started targeting the space where Gojo existed rather than Gojo himself. Eventually, he found a way to bypass Infinity remotely.
In both fights, Mahoraga could only be defeated when he was destroyed by exceptionally powerful attacks that were used for the first time, such as the “Fuga” part of Sukuna’s domain and Gojo’s Hollow Purple.
Would the System Be Enough to Protect Jinwoo?
In simpler terms, by the end of Season 2, it’s evident that no hunter within the association can rival Jinwoo in raw power. His skills are expansive and continually developing, resembling stats in a video game as he levels up. He also possesses a wide array of items and weapons, and some of his most impressive abilities belong to the Shadow army he commands. As the series progresses, so does Jinwoo’s army, eventually amassing several incredibly powerful and versatile summons following their defeat. His army is packed with formidable fighters, and Jinwoo demonstrates proficiency in combat, capable of executing assassination techniques on lesser opponents and holding his own against strong adversaries like Beru during the Jeju Island Raid.
In Season 2, Jinwoo displayed some of his most impressive fighting skills, notably his battles against the Demon King and Beru. The battle with the Demon King played a significant role in Jinwoo’s army development and acquiring the Holy Water of Life, but it was one of the rare instances where viewers witnessed Jinwoo face difficulty. This was the first time Jinwoo found himself struggling to end the fight quickly due to his opponent’s resilience. Following this epic clash, we were treated to the season finale, where Jinwoo faced off against Beru. In this battle, it became evident that Jinwoo is in a league of his own among the S-ranked heroes. During this confrontation, he unlocked the mutilate ability, a dagger technique that ensures critical hits. With this newfound power, he was able to finally defeat Beru by overwhelming him with critical strikes, effectively drowning the ant.
The Hypothetical Showdown Would Be a Showstopper
The essence of our discussion revolves around whether or not Jinwoo, in Season 2, can overcome Mahoraga before his shikigami fully adjusts to his abilities, resulting in a decisive victory. While it’s plausible that Jinwoo could win due to his arsenal of extraordinary skills, such as remarkable speed, strength, and the vast array of magical powers within his shadow army, the majority of his army might not possess enough power to destroy Mahoraga before he adapts to their basic attacks like slashes, punches, and magic. Therefore, it seems that the confrontation would primarily involve Mahoraga battling Jinwoo, Igris, and Beru.
Each of these characters possesses formidable attack power and can inflict significant harm upon the shikigami. Yet, their vulnerabilities become apparent as they don’t have attacks powerful enough to eliminate Mahoraga in a single blow. While Beru’s raw striking force could potentially defeat the shikigami, considering Mahoraga has withstood direct assaults from an amplified Gojo, it remains unclear whether a single strike would ever be damaging enough to vanquish the beast. A discussion could arise about whether Beru’s power is sufficient, but given Mahoraga’s resilience, there’s much debate on its vulnerability to simple attacks.
In the initial phase of their clash, Mahoraga might face some difficulties due to his need to adjust to Jinwoo’s defensive strategies before securing a victory over the hunter. To add to this, the confrontation between them would reveal that Jinwoo’s attacks lack the speed necessary to annihilate Mahoraga instantly. The lethal move Jinwoo employed against Beru, known as Mutilation, bears striking resemblance to Sukuna’s Cleave and Dismantle, which Mahoraga quickly learned to counter during their battle. As both characters possess the capability to evolve throughout the fight, their encounter promises to be thrilling and engaging. However, at the close of Season 2, Jinwoo still seems insufficient in terms of power to obliterate Mahoraga before it can adapt to any moves he may employ.
