Jujutsu Kaisen’s Valentine’s Day Surprise!

The anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” primarily revolves around intense battles rather than romantic themes. As the third season is yet to air, its previous manga chapters concluded last year. Even though the main characters Yuji Itadori and his schoolmates at Jujutsu Tech finished their narrative, creator Gege Akutami continues to captivate audiences with innovative concepts. This Valentine’s Day, there’s a remarkable new promotion for “Jujutsu Kaisen” that truly needs to be experienced!

Japan has witnessed numerous anime franchises generating actual real-life events, such as “My Hero Academia”, “One Piece”, and “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”. These series have established temporary stores to launch new merchandise that could otherwise remain unseen. Notably, the upcoming collaboration for Jujutsu Kaisen on Valentine’s Day is not the first event focusing on Jujutsu Tech in Japan, but it stands out as unique. Despite its darker moments involving intense battles and character demises, the supernatural shonen series Jujutsu Kaisen knows how to bring a touch of humor when necessary.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Valentine’s Day Bonanza

The Japanese event is scheduled at Yokohama Cosmo World amusement park, starting from February 14th (this Friday). From this date, you’ll find a variety of new Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise, as well as unique drinks and food inspired by the Jujutsu Tech universe. For more details about this exciting collaboration, visit the event’s official website using this link. Remember, if you wish to attend, you have until March 31st of this spring season to do so.

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen living in North America don’t have their own Yokohama Cosmo World, but they’ll be pleased to hear some exciting news! Universal Studios is hosting an event called Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of The Cursed at its Hollywood location starting April 25th this year. This anime-themed event runs until May 18th this summer and, although it’s only for a limited time, the fact that it’s coming to the West at all suggests that the popularity of anime among American fans is on an upward trajectory.

Jujutsu Tech’s Future

Previously stated, the manga series “Jujutsu Kaisen” concluded with its creator Gege Akutami providing no indications about continuing the story through a sequel or spin-off. Although Akutami has suggested that they might revisit the world of manga with a new project, details about this potential new tale are yet to be disclosed. On the animation side, Studio MAPPA is working on season three, but the start date for the Culling Game remains undisclosed.
