And when Julie does need others to lend a hand, she knows just where to turn.

During the playing season, the players are often preoccupied and away from home, so it’s delightful to gather with the wives to commemorate the season and benefit from this supportive network as well.

Mentioning how the wives’ group connected to the Commanders has assisted her in adapting to life in Virginia during her first year, she said, “Since I was often away while playing, I missed out on attending most of those events. However, it’s truly exciting to connect with so many of these women. Many of them run remarkable businesses or hold impressive positions, and it’s enjoyable to gather together, learn from each other, and benefit from their support system.
