As a long-time fan who grew up watching the original Jurassic Park trilogy, I can confidently say that the announcement of Jurassic World: Rebirth has me absolutely thrilled! The addition of Bechir Sylvain from Black Summer to the cast only adds fuel to my excitement. Gareth Edwards, director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, is at the helm for this new chapter, and it’s a dream come true for him – which makes me feel like a kid in a candy store!


In the latest update, actor Bechir Sylvain from “Black Summer” has joined the cast of the upcoming blockbuster film titled “Jurassic World: Rebirth”. According to Variety, Universal recently unveiled a sneak peek into their dinosaur-filled world. Photos featuring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey have been released, generating anticipation among fans without the release of an official trailer yet. Gareth Edwards is set to direct “Jurassic World: Rebirth”, a role he’s thrilled about as it represents a long-held dream for him in continuing the Jurassic Park franchise.

Earlier, Edwards shared, “I had planned to take a break, but suddenly found myself jotting down my next film concept, and it’s the only project that would cause me to abandon everything instantly and plunge in headfirst. I have a deep affection for Jurassic Park. I believe the original movie is a cinematic masterpiece. This opportunity feels like a dream to me, and to collaborate with Frank Marshall, Universal, and David Koepp – who’s penning the script – I consider them all legends. So, I’m simply thrilled!”
