The new Jurassic World movie “sees an intrepid team racing to secure DNA samples from the three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air,” according to the synopsis released with first-look images. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. Scarlett Johansson, known for her role in ‘The Avengers’, takes on the character of Zora Bennett, an accomplished undercover agent tasked with assembling a team for a highly classified mission. The objective: retrieving genetic material from the largest dinosaurs globally. However, when Zora’s operation encounters a family whose boat trip was disrupted by prehistoric marine creatures, they unexpectedly find themselves marooned on an island. There, they uncover a chilling secret that has been concealed from humanity for many years.
As a gamer immersed in this captivating narrative, I find myself assuming roles like no other. Mahershala Ali, a two-time Oscar winner known for his stellar performance as Eric Brooks (Blade), is my steadfast team leader, Duncan Kincaid. Jonathan Bailey, the talented actor from Wicked, brings Dr. Henry Loomis to life, a brilliant paleontologist in our world. Rupert Friend, recognized for his work in Obi-Wan Kenobi, steps into Martin Krebs, a persuasive representative for Big Pharma. And Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who left an indelible mark in The Lincoln Lawyer, is Reuben Delgado, the resilient father of the stranded civilian family we’re trying to rescue.
In the cast, you’ll find Luna Blaise from “Manifest,” David Iacono from “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and Audrina Miranda from “Lopez vs. Lopez” portraying Reuben’s family. Meanwhile, Philippine Velge, who has been in “Station Eleven,” Bechir Sylvain from “BMF,” and Ed Skrein known for his role in “Deadpool” will be part of Zora and Krebs’ teams.
