Jurassic World Rebirth Wraps Filming Less Than a Year Before Its Release Date

As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the news about Jurassic World Rebirth has sent shivers of excitement down my spine! Ever since the first Jurassic Park movie graced our screens back in 1993, I’ve been hooked on this franchise like a T-Rex to a tasty morsel.

Initially, when Universal Pictures declared the fourth film in the Jurassic World series, it was clear that production would move swiftly. The news about the movie surfaced at the start of this year, and a 2025 release date was set without any director or cast members confirmed. Later in February, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards was appointed to oversee the project. After an extensive casting process and a production kick-off this summer, filming for Jurassic World Rebirth has now been completed less than a year before its scheduled release date on July 2, 2025.

Over the weekend, producer Frank Marshall announced on Instagram that filming for “Jurassic World Rebirth” has been completed, marking the start of post-production where intricate visual effects will be incorporated into the movie. With the release date for “Jurassic World Rebirth” less than nine months away, there’s a significant amount of work to be done, particularly with all those dinosaurs! However, it’s not unmanageable given the team’s expertise and resources.

Edwards is renowned for his ability to deliver projects efficiently and economically, making him an ideal choice for swiftly wrapping up a project like this one for Universal within the Jurassic World franchise. Besides Rogue One, he has also directed Godzilla from 2014 and last year’s The Creator, adding those films to his portfolio.

What Is Jurassic World Rebirth About?
