Kanye West is sharing his side of a traumatic childhood encounter.
In simpler terms, the musician known as “Stronger” claimed he had a sexual encounter with a relative when he was young, which served as inspiration for an upcoming track titled “Cousins.
In a recent post on X (previously known as Twitter), Kanye mentioned that the title of the song is “COUSINS”. He hinted that this track revolves around his cousin who was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a pregnant woman, a few years after they had agreed not to look at dirty magazines together anymore.
The Grammy-winning artist subsequently commented that he believed it was his duty to participate in the action involving his unnamed cousin.
Maybe, in my self-absorbed state, I thought I’d inadvertently caused the situation when I showed him those inappropriate magazines at such a young age, and subsequently, we enacted what was depicted. (Kanye continued)
Additionally, the 47-year-old disclosed the location of the explicit materials, stating, “The Playboy magazines belonged to my father, but the adult publications I discovered at the top of my mother’s closet were distinct.
Kanye added, “My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d–k till I was 14.”
Recently, the founder of Yeezy, who has children North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5) with his former wife Kim Kardashian, hasn’t held back in confessing aspects of his past.
In early October, Kanye West issued an apology to his ex-friend Jay-Z over a now-removed social media post that cast doubt on Jay-Z’s and Beyoncé’s 7-year-old twins Rumi Carter and Sir Carter’s mental abilities.
On April 10, Kanye wrote: “I’m sorry, Jay Z. I feel remorseful about my tweet, but I can’t help but feel hurt that despite giving so much to this industry, I thought many people were my family. However, when I truly needed support, none of these rap artists stood by me.
