Katharine McPhee Reacts to Erin Foster's Hit Show Nobody Wants This

As a seasoned music aficionado with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that this lineup for the CMA Awards is nothing short of breathtaking! From the young and talented Megan Moroney to the timeless legends like Billy Bob Thornton and Colbie Caillat, it’s a veritable who’s-who of country music royalty.

Katharine McPhee definitely wants more of this.

The former contestant on American Idol, who has been married to music producer David Foster since 2019, continues to express nothing but support for her daughters Sara Foster and Erin Foster. She applauds Erin specifically for producing the popular Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

At the 2024 CMA Awards held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 20th, Katharine shared with TopMob News that she absolutely adored it. She expressed her great excitement for Sara and Erin.

She remarked, “It’s truly amazing to witness Erin taking charge of the show and seeing her name prominently in the titles. The level of success they’ve achieved is just incredible.

The 40-year-old is pleased that Erin, who’s 42, will continue the Kristen Bell and Adam Brody-starring show as it moves into its second season, a development announced in October.

For Katharine, the wellbeing of her family was always at the forefront of her thoughts. Moreover, she offered a glimpse into their daily life with their 3-year-old son Rennie, who currently finds himself deeply engrossed in all things superhero.

But luckily for the Smash star, he’s also a mama’s boy at heart.

“He’s obsessed with his mom,” she gushed, “which I’ll take.”

As I stepped onto the stage last night, surrounded by the star-studded presence of Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson, I couldn’t help but feel an electrifying sense of excitement coursing through me. I was determined to leave a lasting impression on the red carpet, and my choice of attire reflected that ambition. A sleek black pantsuit, accessorized with a chic black scarf, and adorned with a stunning pair of emerald and diamond earrings – every detail was carefully selected to make a memorable statement.

Not only do I get to follow my passion for music, but I’m also fortunate enough to witness some of my beloved country artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Teddy Swims, and Post Malone perform live.

She mentioned that she observed the [Post] during rehearsals, and she was impressed by his talent. Tonight, there are numerous talented artists set to perform.

It appears that tonight could be a significant one for newcomer Post, as he has earned four nominations, shared with Morgan Wallen for their song “I Had Some Help.” Among the nominations are contenders for both Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
